I challenge anyone to make the hardest map possible but theoretically possible to complete (For example, if you utilise a ridiculously hard mine jump, if it can be completed three times in a row, it should be theoretically possible to complete it one hundred times in a row). Don't worry about aethetics, gameplay etc... Just pure extreme difficulty.

I didn't put it in contests because this is more a casual thing and it's more out of curiousity than declaring a winner.

Try utilising enemies apart from mines, since I think the majority of the maps will be utilising one very difficult mine jump over and over.

OooOOOOoohhhh, i'm already working on something like this :P
It's gonna feature long gameplay, insanely tricky mine sections, insanely intense enemy placement and moderately difficult jumps. Probably won't be finished in time to post here though.

Also, you should check out Sendy's maps if you haven't yet ;)

A quick something. You can take out everything in the middle to make things easier.

It's a hard idea to work successfully because so many people could just create maps which recycle perfect precision jumps.

I've got a map waiting on my laptop that forces you to use thwumps to get from the first part of the map to the next, but the thwumps move sideways, and there are mines and a chaingun. Oh, and if you take too long attempting to escape that area, another chaingun enters, at which point your ninja flat-out hates you. I can pull off pretty much the entire map on every try, but that's after quite a few total hours of practice. The hardest map? Probably not. /My/ hardest map? Possibly. >:D

Why don't you just make a falling through mines challenge where there's only one correct sequence of button pushes and if a single frame is off you'll hit a mine and die? Not to hard to make and darn near the maximum difficulty level for a given length map (for instance if the mine faller is 100 frames requiring perfect button presses and l/n/r alternated approximately every 4 frames that would be 25 decision points requiring exact frame precision plus one would have to memorize the sequence in the first place).

Edit: I didn't notice you said no mines. However, with a little more work this idea of there being exactly one possible completion demo can be adapted for other enemy types.

Technically possible. It is possible to move between tile mines.
Lightning is power, you know, the thing that powers the machine you're on.
