Ok, so I may have gone a little bit overboard on the SFX..
:D Lesson learned, keep it subtle and slow down for close calls :D
Thanks for your feedback.

You know what you should do? You could make a N Video with runs on NUMA maps. Road Rage has the best cornerjumps I have ever seen on one map. And I am sure there are many more amazing feats on NUMA maps that you may not find in the Normal Levels.
And again I thankyou for this awesome video.

Don't you mean more runs on NUMA maps. Most of Road_Rage's runs are FBFed, all of his corner jumps are perfect and he does them consistently.Rikaninja wrote:You know what you should do? More chimneying and bounceblock CJs/TJs/Double Side jumps, etc. :P

he means double jumps of the side of bounce blocks, which isn't that hard, unless he means like the speedruns on 29-0 which is very cool. LAT's 90-0 speed run is definitely going in the next video ;Disaacx wrote:Double Side jumps?Izzy wrote:Don't you mean more runs on NUMA maps. I actually meant when you are about to do a normal double jump on a bounceblock but your second jump is on the side.ska wrote:he means double jumps of the side of bounce blocks, which isn't that hard

I've gone looking for some more interesting runs.
Speedruns:
(As before, I'm referring to the 0th run.)
91-1
94-3 (just the section around the exit switch)
Highscores:
(Most of these have cheated demos; I'm referring to the best non-cheated one.)
90-3
91-4 (the close calls aren't as obvious as they should be, but they're still very good)
94-0
96-2 (falling down the center)
97-3
97-4 (room after the exit switch)
99-0 (going up at the end)

Not to knock either of them but there are other players he didn't include which I feel are more important inclusions like j_f and trib4l.behappyy wrote:You should have some of TFK and Izzy in their if you make another one.
Numerous ex-0ths (xaaaaeeeelaaaar!), over 300 top-20s and a 19+ hour total score.

The point is to include the best-looking runs, not the most notable players.darkshadow wrote:Not to knock either of them but there are other players he didn't include which I feel are more important inclusions like j_f and trib4l.

I'm aware of that. My post though was a direct response to tfk and izzy being the players to make sure to include. I was saying if you're going to try to put in specific players then those are the ones that need to be there.player_03 wrote:The point is to include the best-looking runs, not the most notable players.darkshadow wrote:Not to knock either of them but there are other players he didn't include which I feel are more important inclusions like j_f and trib4l.

Actually, my post was meant to be a response to behappyy as well, though I suppose I didn't make that clear enough.darkshadow wrote:I'm aware of that. I think it would be cool to make a video containing all of the really difficult jumps; like the one in between the launch pads, spaced one tile apart.

Loved the MTI effect, made it seem very hot in there, like I've always imagined MTI.

I like the slow motion effects and the music is nice and goes with the video.

OK, hey guys, I've been down to the coast for a while, but I'd like to say a few things while I'm here.
Firstly, zapkt: I promised your run would be in so yeah ;P Well done :)
Re: Trib and JF - Both players will get some of there old-school skills put in the next vid becasue they are legendary players who have produced some amazing runs. - (Yes that's right, I will definitely churn another vid out :D) also, chimneyney will feature, I will probably include L3X's iconic 2-1 run - He insist this run's legit.
Also, I plant to include some "show" runs, where I have made some neat runs, which aren't necessarily meant to be fast, but display all round playing skill such as precision jumping, dodging, stamina etc. Also, more numa runs!
I will also try and improve how I use the special FX as suggested by you guys.
Annnnyway, thanks for all your crit/praise, and I hope I can produce another vid which is as good as the first.
PS @Blackson, the jumping between launchpads thing was essentially done be meta_ing/xaelar. (look near the end of the vid.)
