A question to ponder, the last second...

Talk about whatever is on your mind, if it doesn't go anywhere else.

Apart from screaming, maybe:

"Tell my girlfriends I love them!"

"I'm too awesome to die!"

or

"I never played L4D!"

Definately nothing cliche. That would be horrible. If I was to say something serious, I'd probably say "Time to find the truth about afterlife" or something like that. Assuming I had more time than just to scream.

This is exactly what I did.

I was in a car with my girlfriend at the time and her friends, all chatting on our way to somewhere I forget, when we turned to cross a dual-carriageway and a car going far too fast suddenly clipped the front side of us and we literally lifted off the ground and 180'd into the middle of the oncoming traffic. Luckily nothing hit us after that though. Firemen had to cut the driver loose, and they said had we been a a couple of inches further forward we'd mostly likely all be dead.

I remember turning and seeing the car just about to hit us, I was about to call out when the wind was knocked out of me. Nothing flashed before my eyes, I just remember hoping we'd be okay.

i wish: "I'm feeling better! No, really, i think i'll go for a walk" Monty Python, the holy grail

If i saw the car coming: Houston, we have a problem...

reality: bye

seriously, i'd try to make my last sentence the best joke possible, and go out in style

Yeh, I was in shock for a little while. First thing I did was speak to people who saw it to work out exactly what had happened. Turned out they'd all seen the guy driving far too fast. It didn't hit me until the fire crew turned up to cut the driver loose and told us how lucky we'd been.
