Well there could be accelerometer based physics. But it's a long shot.

HEY BIG SPENDER!Skyflyer wrote:They allowed NReality which was a slightly (but not overly) different case. They could even make profit making an N app for iPhone. It could possibly even be used by other touch screen cellphones. Even normal cellphones (with slight modifications). I wouldn't mind paying approx. 50¢ to be able N on my iPod touch. Do you know (just like that, no particular reason for asking) how much N+ cost? Just wondering.

Do you really think your fifty cents is worthy remuneration for the flesh and blood Mare and Raigan have put into N?Skyflyer wrote:They allowed NReality which was a slightly (but not overly) different case. The reality of bringing N to other platforms - be it the iPhone, a cellphone, PSP, Nintendo DS, XBLA, or anything else - is that a new game has to be built from scratch to look like N. And since the fun of N is so dependent on all the exact movements and timings you see in the PC version, it has to look exactly like N. Mare and Raigan have always said that N is kind of messy and tangled up in itself (and in Flash), so much so that it wouldn't be possible to just pull up the code and transliterate it into another language. So I mean, you're kind of asking someone to make one of the best platformer games of all time, for the iPhone, in exchange for 50 cents a copy.
On the other hand, if the iPhone has a powerful enough processor and can run Flash as well as a desktop PC, then you can just search for "N game" and play v1.2 on a website somewhere.

- it's not like N-reality
- you would need to remake the game, and look how n+ came out
- the copyright won't allow you to reprogram it
- the "buttons" are a pain in the bum because you leave you finger on the screen when you thing you took it off because there is no physical button
- porting from iPhone to cell phones and PDAs is not simple, in fact it means reprogramming it, again
- all of that taken into consideration, that's another 2-3 years gone, M&R aren't gonna make their game again for a few people.
- most other people out there can't be screwed
I could go on for hours, but If you want portable N, buy a ds or psp and get N+... but oh what's N worth? oh yeah 50 cents...

I like N, but the thing was that I thought no one would buy it if it was over 50 cents in cost. I would pay 5-10 $ to get it but no one else probably would. Selling N for 50 cents would get more profit than from approx. 7.5 $. Maybe other PC-N player would buy it too, but i'm not sure how many there are, and how many have iPod/Phones.//Zander wrote: but oh what's N worth? oh yeah 50 cents...
No, it's a coincidence. Unless you posted somewhere, how would I know what you thought?behappyy wrote:Weird I thought of this before. Anyways I had better Idea. You could use the accelerometer to make him go side to side, and tap the screen to jump.
Good idea about the controls, but I doubt it would be easy to time just right for tight level. I thought about flicking the screen to "tell" N what direction to go, or just dragging-and-dropping N to the right place.

Dont think it would work (very well if at all)
Orange- N cannot be spoken, or even thought about in my household. If my parents ever found out that I have played N since the cleansing, my life would be ruined. I keep the game in a multi-passworded .rar on a USB flash drive inside a locked boron alloy container that requires two keys to open (I keep one under the 64th hammer in my piano, and the other one in a small section of removable ceiling in the corner of the attic) hidden in a wall compartment lined with aluminium foil to prevent sonar detection behind my 375 kg cupboard, which is bolted to the floor - the only way to reach it is to abseil outside the fourth floor window and use a screwdriver to unfasten the screws holding the secret brick in place on the opposite side of the wall, but the screwdriver must be a specific type like the one I own, since if any other screwdriver comes into contact with the screws, the entire building will explode, as will a seperate charge placed inside the boron alloy container, rendering the USB useless. Even once the container is retrieved, attemping to open it without the arming pin in place (which is kept inside the battery compartment of my Maglite) will cause the water reservoirs lining the container to burst and react with the caesium lining, causing the container to burst into flames - the only way to prevent this is to use the arming pins to shut off the reservoirs with a sliding steel door. The USB itself contains an accelerometer linked to an explosive charge, meaning that if the USB detects its own movement speed as being greater than 5 cm/s, it will explode - any person attempting to steal it would have to move at a uselessly slow speed. Once plugged into a computer, the USB will upload a ghost virus onto it, leaving no traces. Only the right password can deactivate this virus, and if it is left on the computer for more than six hours, it will format all drives.
As you can see, I take my N playing very seriously.
Guiseppi- I'd much rather watch animals get boned in the ass.
Yanni- If it's glad, it's not rape.
Tsukatu- I refuse to use throw-away bags for such a frequent purpose as buying groceries. Instead, I've collected the hair of my two pet dogs and have woven them together into an all-natural, 100% environmentally friendly bag that I bring with me everywhere. And when I buy products that come in glass and plastic containers, I track down the company that packages them and ship back their containers so that they don't take up space in landfills.
Yeah, I use plastic.
Tsukatu- I hear Ebony Online is great, too. Cum save your princess, my lord!

KinGAleX- I did it on the couch a little while ago.
