Do we need to wait until Monday to post our gym challenge maps on NUMA? Or can I just post it up now and then link to it or whatever I'm supposed to do?

No, you can submit now, then post it in the challenge thread when submissions open.epigone wrote:Do we need to wait until Monday to post our gym challenge maps on NUMA? Or can I just post it up now and then link to it or whatever I'm supposed to do?
As for this week, I think we're going to try it like this: Judges let me know if they're available this week (PM would actually be preferable, so I don't have to rummage through threads.). I assign maps to the Judges on Thursday. Maps scored and results sent to me as soon as possible, but before Sunday. I spend Sunday confirming results to challengers and compiling various data.
I think then we might have to take another two-week break because my midterms start at the end of next week and continue into the beginning of the following week (crossing over the 17th-18th weekend). Once the third marking period begins, there should be fewer breaks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You use the universal rubric: Gameplay out of 20 points, Aesthetics out of 10 points, and Originality out of 10 points, for a Total out of 40 points.

well, back to that jhoto thing...
probably should only happen after we get a couple different champions first.
It would probably be easier if this idea is kept, and the stuff that works is kept.
i guess.

Sorry to say, but this week will be running a bit behind. Luckily, we have the next two weeks off anyway (exams for me, so I'll be too busy to manage this). I was away at a track meet for all of Friday and Saturday, and I'm busy today as well, so I don't think I'll have time to finish everything by tonight. Results should be out early in the coming week, most likely Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding.

Gah, sorry, guys. I'll have them up as soon as I can, but I'm pretty behind. By this weekend is a guarantee. I'll also have something then that will keep you occupied for the rest of the break before Week 5. ;)

zerg! From now on I will poop out my naggings and other unwanted spewing of irrelevancy on *this* page. As of now, I am peeing my, well, erm, air, i guess... waiting for results. Are you about halfway through, less, or whatever? I just want a general picture.

Pheidi will be done when he's done. A progress report won't change that.

Question. Can we submit challange maps before we have reached the gym and then challange that gym later after we get to it?

I'm dropping out of nnrpg. Please judge my map, but I am leaving for a long time due to homework issues.

The poetic justice of that post is just too much.tinkers7777 wrote:I'm dropping out of nnrpg. Please judge my map, but I am leaving for a long time due to homework issues.
Also, I'll be finishing the results by tonight, and if not, then by tomorrow morning.

All right. I have confirmed all demos, confirmed all Gym and Scrimmage results, and recorded everything. The next step is to PM results to the challengers, PM the newcomers, do the rankings and stats, and update the blog. And start that Special Event. ;)
I will take care of all that tomorrow. Thanks for bearing with me, guys.

The thing I sent you with the slots for the badges /was/ the sig that incluye made for this competition. He might take a request, you'd have to ask him, but he hasn't volunteered for anything besides the badges as yet.
