blue_tetris - "kkstrong was nothing, alot of people stood in his way, and he just fought against adversity, he learned he lived, and he was admin at nmaps.net for a while. He is a great mapper, and ya know, thats why he is on the short list for the mod pick."
Pheidi -" Despite a mapper's best efforts, highscorers will always find a way to defy his intentions."

EDIT: I can't use NReality, so unless you can figure out a way for my demos to be submitted, exclude me.

Just the tiles guys. Just the tiles. =)Pikman wrote:Wait, hang on. Do we make an entire map and are graded on the tiles only, or just tiles?

Yup, everything is decided by you, which includes the tiles, ninja, and exit. But, there may only be a tileset, ninja, and exit. Added to main post. =)numa_ninja wrote:Sign me up for both. And also, do we as tilemakers decide where the exit is?

Not necessarily. The tilesets aren't all going to be names (?). They're just tilesets.Shynobi wrote:oh is this the one where you speedrun the names. ok, i'll be a runner.
I'll sign you up as a speedrunner anyway. =P

I think he was talking about the Weekley name Speedrun Competition.Shynobi wrote:oh is this the one where you speedrun the names. ok, i'll be a runner.
Theres a little thing I don't understand: When the maps, which we will speedrun, are submitted, we are NOT allowed to play them in any mode (speedrun, highscore, over/underclock). Did I get this right?

Only one question, and this might sound really dumb.
The contest automayically starts after 32 runners have arrived, or when you say it starts?
And how do we make sure you see our maps? Will it be with a special tag at numa. Or post the data here or something?
O, wait thats two, ah, don't need to be able to count with mapping anyway :)

Yes, you are allowed to play in advantage in other modes. Thew more you practice, the better. But you won't know what tilesets will be picked, so you'll have to get pretty lucky. :evil laugh:Etz wrote:Sorry, expressed badly.
We are able to play maps, before we would play it in the contest. So are we allowed to play maps in advantage in an other mode than speedrun?
Only one question? Haha.Rule wrote:I wanna sign up as a tileset maker. not a speedrunner. Well, you know me :D To slow

1. Automatically after 32 speedrunners show up, or if this has been on hold too long.
2. You will have to tag it with a special tag, attach a completion, and post a link here, unless you post just the code here, in which you have to just have a completion demo attached. Thanks for the questions, everybody.
Added to main post. =)

Ok, so I'll just post my level data here, together with a completion?Riobe wrote:Only one question? Haha.

Not that a completion could be that hard I guess. This is going to be fun! :)
O, are multiple exits allowed? Like two?
And, Evil_Sire, I don't think normal doors are allowed? Or are they?
