Then i saw a level, 24-2, with a big difference between the 0th and 19th, played it for around 2 hours and my first highscore was alive :). And I'm surprised why is it so (that difference) because it isn't so hard level. That day i also managed to get my name to 85-1 which was very easy, too (30-60 minutes). I really don't know why is it so.
So that was my story, glad too see xaelar still alive (i thought that all people just leave the scene in that year 2007 or so).

You're right, many good highscorers left in 2007, early 2008, just like Lim. But we still have enough to keep the boards active, take eru_bahagon as an example.
Note that only KryX' highscores are cheated, his speedruns are legit and he is an active + legit speedrunner (and a good one ;P)
Keep trying and you will quickly get more highscores, 27-3 is easy to get on the boards ;)

Keep trying and you'll be able to do xaelar's trick. ;)
I think 8-4 is nice and easy too. It was my first highscore.

As far as 85-1 being easy for you to get on, I think I can say why. The trick on that one isn't terribly difficult to do once, but the level requires you to do it 8 times, and the last few are near impossible to go all the way across in one go. So, it really comes down to who can get the quickest recoveries. As far as the others, I haven't tried them out, so no idea there. Looking forward to seeing what else you can do.
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point
[16:25] <trance> Oh, yeah. That level.
[16:29] <@golfkid> lol
[16:30] <@golfkid> It looks so simple
[16:30] <@golfkid> But it says "NO! I will rape your sanity!"

i'm still alive aswell (and probably most active of all better highscorers) and it's true that 99% of the runs i have in highscore mode are cheated. (turn on legit mode in NReality to exclude all scores posted before N became cheat proof)vankusss wrote:Hello i am pretty new to this site and everything. I've been playing N for several days few years ago, but last september i begun (or began or what suits to you :) i don't like times in english) to play it again, because on notebook there aren't many games you can play. So i was playing episodes a and looking at xaelars, Mr_lims and lookatthis runs with eyes wide open how is it possible to be so good. Firstly i thought that they are programs or they control keys with some application or so :). Then i found nreality, and it was nice feeling to see my nick on the highscores board :). I found also old forums and was pretty sad because all posts were from year 2007 or so, so i thought the scene is gone (and found out that something like fbf exists, i still don't know what it is, but now i know that kryx's runs aren't human-made).

but if you watch my speedrun demos you probably couldn't see any difference from my highscore runs.. cheats are just unnessescary :)
welcome and congratulations! hope you'll play this game enough to compete with me and xaelar some day!

you might want to hurry up before 49-2 is maxed (1 frame left), otherwise it will be only 596xaelar wrote:yeah I'm still alive, and won't leave before I have 597 0ths ;)
what are his tricks? :Deru_bahagon wrote:Keep trying and you'll be able to do xaelar's trick. ;)
only a little bunch, barely noticable :Pgolfkid wrote:Being able to get ones like that tells me you should be able to get a bunch more.
played, competed, (what's the 3rd word to make an analogy to Caesar?) (hmmm, 'won' isn't right since i didn't win) (ok i have it ->) enjoyedkryX wrote:vankusss wrote:hope you'll play this game enough to compete with me and xaelar some day!

why? He's tied my 0th.. And besides, even if someone flukes an extra frame on 49-2, the run can still be tied and counted as a 0th.vankusss wrote:you might want to hurry up before 49-2 is maxed (1 frame left), otherwise it will be only 596xaelar wrote:yeah I'm still alive, and won't leave before I have 597 0ths ;)

Yes!! Please, I don't know what FBF is. Please explain.vankusss wrote:Hello i am pretty new to this site and everything.
