A New Features Queue Whilst Atob Is Away?

I was wondering if this would be a good idea, since I'm pretty worried (actually, very worried) about his condition and whether the thread would be managed for a long time. It could fall in disrepair pretty soon imo, so do you think it would be best for me to set up and alternate queue in the meantime (or have someone else set up something similar)? I'll set up one here if there are no objections, until he returns anyways. I've transferred all of the future dates from his thread (only mine, I see :/) and plotted out the rest of the month, for convenience's sake.

I believe atob isn't dead, but he's working with his band, touring, making an ep, and the like. this was his (and Tanner's) way to say he'd be gone for a little bit.

I don't think atob will be gone for too long (and I hope not as well), but I still think someone should set up a temporary thread (as I said on the current one). We would obviously go back to the old thread, so setting up a new one can't hurt in the meantime.

If you can manage it, by all means, you'd be great at it :P

If we've gone without atob and had a featured maps queue that worked just fine so far(seeing as how I'm sure all the reviewers know to check previous posts in the thread to make sure they aren't stealing a feature day requested by someone else) then I think we can manage.

Otherwise I see no problem with somebody who is going to be more active than lord_day, atob, Skyline, Clovic, wedgie or I taking this over.

That said, I think GTM will be fine with running the thing as long as he keeps the format the same and doesn't get big-headed :P
I'll PM LV and b_t and epigone and request that they change the original post author to GTM instead of atob, so that GTM can edit it and keep track of when everybody goes.

EDIT:
I just read that maxson would like to take it over as well, though I'm not sure that would be appropriate (sorry, it's nothing personal, just haven't seen you around as long).
I guess I'll let whoever wants to take the thread over should decide amongst themselves who would be best fit and then PM that admins and tell them that you've all decided who should take it over and that you have Manus Australis's blessing.

Yeah, that was before GTM said he was willing to as well.

I think the idea of getting an admin to change the original author to GTM is the best option here.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no reason why GTM can't run this while ATOB is AWOL. He's got the initiative and he's fairly active, might as be him.

Thanks for the support guys, but please continue to use this; my current feature has been stagnating for a while and we haven't gotten any new demand. Could we try and get a large amount of advance bookings in?
