Conceptual Map Contest Two

Why is this back you may ask? Blame Blackson.

Conceptual Map Contest-Original link just for anyone who wants to look back at the smashing success of the first CMC.

Okay, so I have a bunch of spoilers set up below for any information you may need on the competition.
The Idea

In this contest, a concept is an idea for a map.

Pretty self explanatory actually. Each round, people will make a map based on a certain concept. That's it. Simple, right?

Rules & Standards

All rules are listed below. Any questions or info you need to ask me, feel free to.

-This competition will be separated into rounds. A certain amount of people will be eliminated depending on how many people sign up.
-Maps must be submitted to NUMA. For whatever reason if you can't submit your map to NUMA, please PM me the reason why, and we can come to a compromise.
-All maps must have a concept, a theme, must be fun, and have good aesthetics.
-Yeah, there are themes. I am open for suggestions.
-There is no NReality folks.
-All maps must be conceptual. That said, all maps also must have the tags CMC2 and conceptual.
-All maps must be completable.
-In the result of a tie in the final round, the two finalists will go at it again in a 1 on 1 match-up again. Then, if they tie again, there will be another 1 on 1 battle, but this time, there will be a poll up for a week (more if it remains tied) in which anybody can vote on which ever map they liked better.
-Make sure to have fun. That's what this competition is all about!

Judging

The judging is as follows.

Fun-?/25 - The fun of the map.
Aesthetics-?/25 - The looks of the map.
Theme-?/25 - How well the map follows the theme.
Conceptual-?/25 - How innovative is this concept, and was it used to it's best?

To be more in depth about Theme & Concept:

When I mean a concept, I mean that you're supposed to add some kind of odd innovation into your map. It's not a matter of making a map, and then deciding what the concept is after you've made it. What I'm aiming for is creativity, innovation, new ideas, and all of that. Does that make more sense to you guys?

This is an example of something having a clear concept, and it's innovative as well. Something like this would get a higher score in the "Concept" category of the competition.

This does have a concept, but isn't innovative, in which this map would score less than another map with innovation.

As for theme, the theme is...a theme. It's meant to give the map a specific...theming. In this case, the theme is minimalism (Using a minimal amount of objects, while getting as much out of those objects as you can). Whether or not that contradicts with your concept is your problem, and you have to find away around it.

For example:
This has a more minimalistic theme, and thus would score more in the "Theme" category.

This on the other hand would score much less because it's not minimalistic at all.
----------
You have a week for each round to submit your map. The earlier everyone submits their maps, then the maps hopefully shall be judged faster.

People Needed

Okay, I'll need the following people.

-An image maker. This is a little less important, as I can do some imaging myself, but even so, a more professional image-maker would be best.

Prizes

The prizes are as follows:

-First place gets there username in gold font when I post the final judging, a crazy cool sig & sigbar, and 15 awesome RCE's from yours truly.
-Second pace (the runner-up) gets there username in silver font when I post the final judging, a cool sig & sigbar, and 10 RCE's from yours untruly.
-Third place gets a nice sigbar, and 5 RCE's from yours truly.
-All participants get a nice sigbar stating that you have participated in this competition.

A Few More Slightly Unrelated Things

Uh...as for the past winner and runner up (spudzalot & Blackson), I still owe you guys your rates. :P So I'll be sure to get on that in a week or so (I get a weeek vacation off from school, which is fantastic).

The TRC competition is on hold, because as you may have heard, the NReality speedruns/highscores are still missing. So those of you who happen to be in the quarter-final as of now and are looking at this, don't worry, the competition will be continued as soon as Unreality gets his site up and running again. Check the thread for more info on that.

Congratulations to wulfgang for coming in second place!
And congrats to Blackson for coming in third place! You made the final round real close man, only missing second by 70.608583 points.

All prized will be handed out (most likely slowly but surely) to all the finalists. And a special thanks to all who participated in the competition!

I thought I suggested this to you? I was scrolling through to find my first post and it was the first contest of this (but I never did anything!).

Anyways, I'm so in! :)
Edit: So is the contest just gonna start when there's enough people signed in?

Wow, I totally phrased that wrong.

I meant to say "Actually, you did remind me before, but I thought it was too early to get back into it because I already had the TRC up and running. But, Unreality's site went down (the NReality site), so that competition was put on hold. Then, Blackson posted on one of my maps telling me to start this up, and I was like 'Hey, it'd be a good time to start that up again'. Then I looked at the NReality thread, and read about the site going down. So I decided to get this thing up and running."

Yeah, that's about right.

By that, you mean you haven't gotten one?

If that's so, I'll make it for you soon enough.

haha, great idea about your avatar, riobe. <3 I have a few question:
1. So when is the planned time for the start of this contest?
2. How many people are gonna be eliminated each round?
3. How many rounds are there?

1: I have no idea, when I get enough sign ups I guess.
2: It's in the first post, but the basic idea is the more people we have in the competition, the more people get eliminated each round.
3: No idea. =P I'll decide that once we get the competition rolling.

Here's my map.

I didn't want to submit it to numa quite yet because it wouldn't get much attention ATM.

Yeah, the competition has not started yet people. You do know there will be themes, right? Because if the map doesn't follow the theme, you lose many points.
