What you need to do is invite them over to your SoHo loft, cook them a nice meal and after they're all fat and content, just come right out and tell them. They're your parent. They'll love you no matter what.maestro wrote:My parents don't know. I've been trying to find the courage to tell them for four years but I just can't bring myself to do it.

At least you have an alternative source of entertainment other than the computer. I have maybe one commercial game for it, Age of Empires 3, which I have to run on lower settings because my computer is old. I used to have Max Payne 2 but the 2nd install CD is too scratched up to use anymore. I do have a PS2 as well, but my selection of games is fairly limited. I want to get a 360 sometime this month, as I'm job hunting right now.blackbelmoral wrote:same. except they reserve the right to annoyingly take away my only other source: my ds, for a few weeks. i hate that.
I also hang out with a couple of friends from time to time, so at least I'm more social than I used to be. Driving is such a liberation.

I keep the game in a multi-passworded .rar on a USB flash drive inside a locked boron alloy container that requires two keys to open (I keep one under the 64th hammer in my piano, and the other one in a small section of removable ceiling in the corner of the attic) hidden in a wall compartment lined with aluminium foil to prevent sonar detection behind my 375 kg cupboard, which is bolted to the floor - the only way to reach it is to abseil outside the fourth floor window and use a screwdriver to unfasten the screws holding the secret brick in place on the opposite side of the wall, but the screwdriver must be a specific type like the one I own, since if any other screwdriver comes into contact with the screws, the entire building will explode, as will a seperate charge placed inside the boron alloy container, rendering the USB useless. Even once the container is retrieved, attemping to open it without the arming pin in place (which is kept inside the battery compartment of my Maglite) will cause the water reservoirs lining the container to burst and react with the caesium lining, causing the container to burst into flames - the only way to prevent this is to use the arming pins to shut off the reservoirs with a sliding steel door. The USB itself contains an accelerometer linked to an explosive charge, meaning that if the USB detects its own movement speed as being greater than 5 cm/s, it will explode - any person attempting to steal it would have to move at a uselessly slow speed. Once plugged into a computer, the USB will upload a ghost virus onto it, leaving no traces. Only the right password can deactivate this virus, and if it is left on the computer for more than six hours, it will format all drives.
As you can see, I take my N playing very seriously.
lol at all of orange's activities.
and my mum doesnt really know the n game, and my dad watches me playing it sometime. he secretly enjoys it but when i asked if he wanted to try , he declined. hes missing out big time.

The bigger problem is that my parents moan how i'm always on my computer. Because apparently that equates to playing games which equates to wasting my time.
I'll be damned if I'm drawing or reading the news, or talking to people, or learning japanese etc etc >=(

How do i put !@#$ing quotes in my sig?

Guiseppi- I'd much rather watch animals get boned in the ass.
Yanni- If it's glad, it's not rape.
Tsukatu- I refuse to use throw-away bags for such a frequent purpose as buying groceries. Instead, I've collected the hair of my two pet dogs and have woven them together into an all-natural, 100% environmentally friendly bag that I bring with me everywhere. And when I buy products that come in glass and plastic containers, I track down the company that packages them and ship back their containers so that they don't take up space in landfills.
Yeah, I use plastic.
Tsukatu- I hear Ebony Online is great, too. Cum save your princess, my lord!
Ska- UR MUM LIKE IS SPICY
Ska- why d i get the feeling what i typed will end up in the quote depository; or worse: someone's sig.
KinGAleX- I did it on the couch a little while ago.
Zeph- I got too pissed at the knife in the end so I just broke the wood on my knee

Anyway, my parents are disinterested in whatever I do on the computer, but if they took notice of N they wouldn't have a problem with it. I think my dad once told me not to hammer the keyboard so hard when I was trying to chimney jump through doors on St Atilla's training maps.
My twin sister actually played it a little, but she's not really into games that much so she just forgot about it.

We just didn't get around to that.
My dad, I don't think, cares very much.
Some moron in school watched me play it for a couple of minutes. I asked him if he wanted the URL, he said:
"Ah, no, I wouldn't play that gay game for me life."
Yes, he called it gay.
Bet he's secretly playing it right now...

Nobody will probably read this sentance, as it is the second to last one, so put it in your sig if you did. -brainwasher's sig.

Tell him to say that to the Metanet community. One of the most intellectually advanced forums on the web. That way, he can see how "Gay" it really is. :Plookatthisisgoodatn wrote: "Ah, no, I wouldn't play that gay game for me life."
Yes, he called it gay.
Nah, I bet he really is playing it in secret.
