Phedi, I have a question about the two-on-two matches:

Does each team pick a rule like a one-on-one, does each person pick a rule (resulting in four rules), or are there no additional rules besides the ones already in place?

No, r_t, no one's that far yet. However, a few will probably be challenging PALEMOON next week, and his Gym comes right before yours, so it's getting close.

Judges who said they'd be available this week, check your PMs for your maps. I won't be around for most of Saturday, but if all the scores are in before Sunday I should be able to compile the results on time.

Week 6 has been delayed due to some judging problems, which I think can be fixed with a slight tweak for the future. Results will be sent out as soon as I have them. Sorry for the delays, folks. We're working on it.

Hey, everyone. Great news! My laptop is back from service. I'm in the process of putting my backed up files back onto the machine and getting all my old settings and programs back, but I should be able to finish that by tonight. Then, I can begin working on the Week 5 Results. Week 6 might actually start on Monday if I can work quickly enough, so take heart!

I'm sorry I never got that Special Event going, but things got pretty crazy around here. Anyway, I just wanted to catch you all up on the status of our little contest. Hopefully we'll be back on our feet soon.

Edit: Oh, crap, I double-posted. Does significant news after ten days of inactivity warrant a bump?

Dammit. Guys, I have bad news. My laptop just bluescreened/went crazy again. That means the problem isn't software-related, as the re-image didn't fix it. I'm going to have to send my laptop away for service, which could take another week or more. I'm really sorry, but it looks like were back to postponing Week 6. ;_;

It's never too late to become a Judge. Seeing as the contest has been suspended for the moment because of my faulty laptop, you'd have a good opportunity to get started by Judging the Gym maps. Be warned, though, that when this contest is in progress, it will be your weekly duty to Judge a handful of maps and PM me the scores in a timely manner, as I still need time to compile all the results and send them out. If you're still interested, I'll direct you to the Gym maps and PM you with more details.

If I haven't had a blue screen by the end of this weekend, I will spend next week compiling the Week 5 results and we can begin Week 6 next Monday (March 9th), provided my computer stays error-free. Fingers crossed. ;)
