Are you sure? Doesn't that kinda ruin the surprise of it?

I thought I was going to be keeping them in a .txt on my desktop, and you and yungerkid as well? It wrecks it to have them all public before the pack's released.

We talked about it on irc. Either we're going to use the idea you just stated or we'll get an admin to create a private forum.

Yup, already PMed LV about that. I actually hadn't thought of it as an idea for a place to store maps, though. That's sweet, good call.

i think that once we have all the maps, we'll just have the judges order them, or else order them ourselves. i would prefer, personally, to store them on a forum /and/ have the three of us keep copies.

we could always use this instead of ruining the surprise.

No. We remember how this went with Evil_Sire's replacement forum right?

Anyways, I think someone should make this thread only visible to the MOA Elite usergroup, to be formed beforehand. Possibly? That's the best solution I can see for these privacy issues.

I don't know if this is the time or place.
I think I've already asked this, but do we have a criteria to judge with, I mean someone could submit a stellar map but doesn't really complement the objective of the map pack. Also, I don't understand why all the maps must have an agd submitted, surely a completion would be satisfactory, remember, some of the metanet maps had unattainable gold e.g. 6-4 (haha my 0th :P) anyway, I've submitted my answers, I've the maps I've judged I've said "no" to 3, but I believe two of those maps can be suitable with a little bit of refinement, I posted which in the PM... Anyway I'm rambling. I don't really think I'll be able to contribute maps other than the ones I am making for my own series...

ska, we do have criteria to judge with. remember, the purpose of the pack is as a sort of time capsule, to show to future generations what we are made of. thus, we are simply accepting the best maps (in terms of skill and fun) that we can produce.

i just did my judging, and i had some critique too. i'd just pm it to the mapmaker himself, along with the level-name(s).

So should we post them as such? http://pastebin.ca/1343862 or PM?

PM your completed maps to me. I'll pass them on to the judges, who will PM me back a yes or a no. I'll pass the results on to you.

In other (though related) news: The first bundle of maps has gone out to the judges! Once three more of them get back to me, the mappers who sent them in to me will know the results, and so far, it's looking like five or six are definitely going to be included, and four of the eight I sent in have been unanimous yeses from the seven judges who've gotten back to me. So we're officially, really and truly rolling!

And as for the AGD: If the author has placed some gold that's really, really hard to get, like master N-player level gold, then it's allowable to send in a completion. Preferably an AGD, because it shows that the playtester really experienced the whole map, but it's not entirely necessary. But please, put a lot of effort into the AGD before you deem it impossible.

i think that we should each (kk, cs, and yk) keep a copy of all the accepted levels. i think i might not have been hard enough on the levels i judged.

when you became a backup judge. stay on hold; you'll probably get to become a judge eventually, when someone else rotates out.

I'll still judge if you go through with the PM to me thing rather than just Find rate what not.
And do you guys mind if i make a tutorial episode or such?

Just kind of low difficulty to draw not so good players in. like ones that'll need practice for later levels
