You're probably looking back in time at your broswer's cache of NUMA. Refresh the cache (ctrl+F5 for me) and see if you get an error. Or try to submit a map.
ExüberNewsFeed: Exuberance is mostly <AFF> (Away From Forums) for a while, though I may still participate in epic contests/threads. When I return, I shall bring several comic updates (enough to finish season 1) and hopefully 1 or 2 games- at least one of which is N-related
Comic Activity-O-Meter: (how often I'm updating my comic)
(Click here to see what each level and half-level means in terms of updates per time period)

NOTE: If I just add a bunch of comics in one day, but plan on going back to normal after that, I probably won't update the status.
+ Dead: Canceled. Done. Maybe you'll get a random comic like once a year, but it's pretty much done.
- Zombie (Dead/Comatose): The comic is probably done regular updates forever, but I'll probably still add something once in a blue moon. It's still POSSIBLE, that I'll raise the status up, but not very likely. Maybe I'll have a comicplosion for like a week, then go back to being dead
+ Comatose: Complete stand-by. No (or very few) updates for some amount of time, but the comic's far from being over
- <AFK> (Comatose/Loitering): Stand-by, but you might possibly count on a few updates once and a while. Again, this is temporary
+ Loitering: Like comatose, but for short amount of times.
- Turtling (Loitering/Semi-Active): Really slooooww updates
+ Semi-Active: One every 2 weeks...ish?
- Quasi-Active (Semi-Active/Active): Averaging about 2 comics every 3 weeks
+ Active: Loosely defined status, but about a weekly update
- Over-Active (Active/Power-leveling): About 2 comics a week
+ Power-leveling: About 3 comics a week. Possible a schedule, possibly not
- Über-Epic (Power-leveling/COMICPLOSION!!): In some cases, this may actually be mean updates more frequently than COMICPLOSION!!, but I'm defining this level as a non-organized comic rush, kind of like a few days after my comic started
+ COMICPLOSION!!: Daily updates for a minimum of 5 days (since the daily updates started. It remains at this status until the 5, 7, whatever days are done)

Its not useless; I was looking for something like this so that I know that It's a global problem (the site is down, not something with my computer).
Who else was just about to submit a map too?
Even worse would be if you already submitted one.
I just submitted one

It's working fine for me.

EDIT: Oh, no, it's not. It just died when I tried to log in. And before anyone says anything - no, it wasn't my cache. I've not visited NUMA for weeks, but I could see maps submitted in the last couple of days.

EDIT THE SECOND: And after clearing my cookies, I can access it again. It's a problem with logins - you can browse NUMA, you just can't be logged in.

Well, its been over 24 hours, I think, and if I can't submit my maps that are piling up on my Notepad file, at least I can complain about it here :).

@Atilla: really? I gotta try that!

Lol, I got several maps for NUMA!

Yeah, If you clear your cookies via Tools>Clear Private Data (at least for Mozilla) and select only cookies, it works as long as you don't hit the log in button or try to access your profile by the above nav bar. It's kinda weird, though, visiting an inactive NUMA. the first on the hot maps is 25 hours old, I think a new record, lol!

EDIT: sorry, forgot a thought. I hope there isn't a huge flood of maps when it re-opens. I hope people will learn to pace themselves if they have multiple maps to post on that day.

I doubt that will happen. When NUMA is back up, half of the members will be offline, and any active user would know not to.
I just make one map instead of several, thus knowing it has more effort in it than normally, well then if i made 2 or more.
Possibly someone may spam, but that casual NUMA anyway so no new news

True. that makes me feel better
about the map thing...
First of all, I wasn't entirely truthful. I've made three tilesets, intending to make maps out of 2, and already have completed one, so I should only have one at this point that needs to be posted. The completed one, I can't really do anything more to it, and I don't really want to.

*sigh*
so...

If it were scheduled maintenance, we would have all be informed prior. It's just another one of those random errors, so just get over it. NUMA will be back up soon.

Just delete your cookies if you want to browse the site. Or only remove the NUMA-specific ones if you want to keep the rest.

I am spending more time on my tilesets, so I guess that is a good thing. It still has been 42 hours now (according to chume14's map), and I wish I could at least try other people's new maps without asking them to PM it to me first, or try other peoples new tileset ideas.

Another good thing is that I actually am starting to post on the forums now.

lol chume! yeah, I've spent alot of time on a map, now I'm gonna work on another, I look at this more of something to take me off my long hours on numa, more than making a few substantially good maps, although this is taking a really long time, and there isn't a real reason why yet, so perhaps a hack or system crash...I'll probably not even post for a few days after it being fixed anyways, so lots of good maps available to play once it runs again :D
