I open tabs and never close them
I usually have 3 - 6 chrome and firefox browsers at a time, not counting the irc and google talk
the tabs will have multiple pastebins, numas, and forums
occasionally youtube, often a few chess.com tabs, some google search tabs, a gmail tab, etc etc
I'm too lazy to close them
ATM, I have 5 firefox browsers and one chrome browser
I have a forums tab, 3 pastebin tabs (all on different browsers), 4 numa tabs with different maps

i'm a tab whore, keeping between 30 and 100 tabs open all the time. If I wanted to cut down it would be 5-7 though.

One of the reasons for tabs existing... is not having many programs open. Having 5 Firefox browsers all open must eat resources like a fucking Hippopotamus.ganteka wrote:I open tabs and never close them

I constantly open links on the irc, which means a new firefox browser each timeDonfuy wrote:One of the reasons for tabs existing... is not having many programs open. Having 5 Firefox browsers all open must eat resources like a fucking Hippopotamus.ganteka wrote:I open tabs and never close them

I have so many tabs open that I take advantage of my widescreen display and use an extension that puts the tabs vertically on the left side. Right now i have 22 tabs open. When I read the forums, I tend to go to a forum and then open all the unread discussions in new tabs simultaneously. I then go through the tabs reading and posting.

YouTube music/videos and something else that I browse through everything else with. That one is usually open more. I frequently go back to the first one to change the music or replay it (duh). Usually game music.

If you used Google Chrome as your default browser, you could drag the new window into the tab-space of your standard browser window and form make a new tab.

Mmm, I don't actually see how he gets new firefox -s all the time. It never happened to me. It always opens in a tab when I click a link.
And that feature is cool, but since I don't have any other windows of firefox opened, it doesn't matter for me. And by the way, Safari has it too.
Chrome is waaay too... simple. I couldn't just lay all my browsing things on a little thing like Chrome.

Wait a second...
...the tabs I keep open out side Google Chrome would be either Skype or mIRC and maybe homework.

Yeah, Chrome has that feature as well, although I don't think IE does. I assumed he was opening a new window at first for a reason, and then later he could merge them for simplicity.Donfuy wrote:Mmm, I don't actually see how he gets new firefox -s all the time.
