Just as a suggestion, programming should really have its own board. This board seems cluttered by the extra hardware stuff, the old metanet forum had great discussions on programming relating to the N tutorials. I feel like some of those people won't migrate here cause this doesn't quite look like an in depth tutorial/programming video game board. If people don't migrate, people will have to start from scratch on understanding some of the tutorials. I didn't see many of the discussions carried over here.

This board is pretty quiet as it is. No reason to split it and make it slower.Jason wrote:Just as a suggestion, programming should really have its own board. i brought this up to bt at the beginning of the forum, and that resulted in us having a techno/programming board at all.
The math/physics programming stuff we used to have in dev tuts was quite different to hardware/software technology or whatever, but we don't seem to get that at all now. Maybe the reason is because we don't have a clear section for it now (And Raigan doesn't seem to like this forum as much).
But yeah, it was a very quiet board. The people in dev tuts didn't seem to mix with the others though so it was necessary I think. Maybe when robotology tutorials and the n source code is released, the admins will see a need.

And Scythe is right, it's slow as it is.

I'm with Dave on the subforums. We're here for discussion, not to make the site look fancy. If the forum is worth having, it's worth putting on the front page.SlappyMcGee wrote:Can we make subforums here? :)

Eh. Creating a forum so that it gets filled up seems sort of backwards to me. Like scythe said, this place is slow as is.
