I saw this before like a month ago wish I'd seen this thread before so when I said it was incredible I would be one of the first. My favorites are lookatthis on 42-3 and Mr Lim on 57-2 (I tried to do that for like a day). My new n related aim is to get a demo good enough for one of these but its so far out my league. Personally I liked the FX but hey.
Also random vaguely related question I was reading N wikia and I was reading Mr Lim's article (http://n.wikia.com/wiki/Mr_Lim) and it says although its probably quite out of date Mr Lim is "Famous for his innovation on 78-3; currently the largest difference between a 0th and 1st place-getter." so I watched lookatthis's 78-3 bit on your video to try and work out what it was but couldn't. Just been nagging at me and wasn't sure who or where to ask and though you were the kind of person who might know
Thanks for a great video (also I appreciate your music taste if this represents it at all)

I do know the recent history about the dogfight battles on 78-3.
If you watch Johnny_faneca's demo, you will notice how he almost makes it past the drone, but just misses out.
Mr_Lim saw this opportunity to squeeze past the drone and managed to get a lead of 6.725 seconds by beating the drones. This gap was made quite famous because nobody could seem to come close to matching Limmy'sm feat. After a long time, Analu bridged the gap to within 2 seconds. I think it was few months more before LAT claimed the 0th and xaelar snatched 1st a bit later. I currently have 8th with mediocre run :P.
The songs I chose, I believe they were appropriate for the video and also because I personally think they are awesome! (I wouldn't choose songs I didn't like ;D) The best songs seem to be circa 2001 for some reason :D

Just wanted to say that I had missed this somehow but it was fucking awesome. Also I liked the effects... dunno what everyone was complaining about.

not to sound cliched but...great video
the panning could have been smoother, and some of the effects weren't the best but it was great

Oh, I probably wouldn't be able to add much, but I'd totally be in support of updating the wiki.
Also, why didn't I see this earlier? Good job, ska.
EDIT: Lenny, that was Clifty... we all know he's a god at DDAs.

Soon as in later. Probably post-December. However, aperture and I are in contact, so rest assured we are at least thinking about it.

Just a reminder, I'm still accepting run nominations for Best of N 2 but they must be posted this thread.

Well how about these run I made.
This first one is the run I did on my stupidly hard map. There are some dead stops in the run so it doesn't look that cool over all but I was thinking maybe just add the part where I go opposite side wall jumping between the mines. I was thinking about making that run look a lot smoother if I end up doing that I think the whole run will looks awesome and be worth including.
This run is just a short thing I put together when I was bored it was fbfed but I still think it looks pretty sweet.

And, as long as we're doing self-promotion:
Note: all of these demos can be pasted into the userlevels demo box. However, you may want to get a debug mode demo of The Cheese Grater, as there is a death cheat in there.

It's time again to suggest some new, crazy runs for the Best of N 2 Video.
I'm particularly after speed runs and numa maps, but good traditional highscores I missed in the last video are acceptable.
Thanks ;)

Well, you saying that you were working again got me to finish mine. Feedback would be appreciated.

By the way, I would be much obliged if someone could find me the level number of "Squeazles" (I'm pretty sure it's a Legacy Team level included in NReality).
I recorded and edited these clips but then forgot to put them in. You can use them if you like.
