Yes, Opera is definitely worth a download and try. I find it to be the most fully-featured browser, without the need for addons or extensions, the GUI is great, preferences and customisations that are default are very diverse, and the speed is grand.xeronix wrote:Mozilla Firefox... (how is opera, would you say its worth a download & try?)
I really like Opera. Firefox is my backup. Safari is my backup backup. And IE is my backup backup backup. Chrome doesn't stand out to me as worth trying.

Hmm, my parents used netscape, I had to as well, then Flock replaced netscape, I quite liked it and haven't stopped using it now that I have a computer of my own.

The W3Schools browser stats can't be trusted to portray the internet at large though, since it is a web development language reference site (thats a long description for 5 words...) it gets a larger percentage of browsers that don't ruin the internet (meaning: everything that isn't IE)LittleViking wrote:http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.aspA1cAviation wrote:I'm using FireFox. Closer to 90%.
actual browser usage is closer to ~72% IE, 19% FF, 6% Safari, and the remaining 3 percent being mostly Chrome and Opera

Apparently not the people who do this poll, though. I'm Safari though.

Soon as in later. Probably post-December. However, aperture and I are in contact, so rest assured we are at least thinking about it.

Okay, I didn't see the comment at the top of LV's post. That makes more sense.smartalco wrote:Uhh... they dont? I'm not sure where you got that idea.Turiski wrote:Wow, I can't believe that more people use Safari than Firefox!
