Australian football is this madness which seems to be similar to American football. Image

Football to everyone else that I know of in the world is soccer to us Americans.

Sorry for the giant pictures, it's not showing the resizing I did on photobucket...
I thought you were cool :P. Football is football. Those guys should rename the sport, but handball is already taken.
American football should be takleball. :D

Living in Australia, football has always been the Australian Rules. However, depending who says it, I'll know whether they mean AFL or soccer.

Very Simple:
Football
Soccer
Aussie Rules

and no one gets confused. (Until we get to rugby. Union or League?)

Precisely my feelings.

Here in AMURICA we call football FOOTBALL and soccer is the sport with the feet.

I actually like "futbol" much better than I like Football. But when I say football, yes, American it is.

The commentators in New Zealand always call rugby union football , as in (he's a great football player) so that kinda should have been a poll option...

But I play football, so I vote for the original round ball version which is played with your feet.
