The User Colosseum: first quarter

The user Colosseum competition is designed to help newer users make a name for themselves. This is done through four quarters where three soldiers (new users) are put to battle against three lions (oldie users).

Rules- There will be 18 players all together. There are four main quarter rounds. In Each quarter round there is six players. Each quarter round is split into two smaller rounds( except for the last quarter). In each small round two players are eliminated (one lion and one soldier). This is repeated to complete a quarter. After each quarter two players are left (one lion and one soldier). If you are all ready a quarter winner you can not compete the in other two of the first three quarters. Losers can jump back into the next quarter but if they lose on the third quarter they're out of luck. For each round big or small I will assign a theme.
The winners of each quarter will face off in the last quarter where the lions form a team and the soldiers form a team. Each team collaborates to make one map. The better map wins. Remember, lions, the point is too not completely destroy the soldiers. The purpose is to find new talents. Don't necessarily go easy though. Each map must be submitted to numa unless you have a good reason for it. You can also sign up to be a judge. There are three judge spots open for each competition. One for execution of theme, one for aesthetics and one for game-play. Each will be judged from one to ten by our judges.

Prizes- participants get a sigbar showing that they did in fact participate.
Winners get a winner sigbar and each person on the champion team gets a Coliseum Champion sig.
Judges get a judge sigbar.
The prizes will come soon.

Ok, we have our lions. Now he need our soldiers and judges.
Origami_alligator once a contest has passed we'll start over with the same one.
After the first four quarters old winners can sign up again. It goes on forever like the Paradigm Shift Contest.

I guess I'll judge on execution of theme to hurry it up a little.
For future reference oldie need to specify wether they want to be lions or judges. The same goes for the new users but the other was around. I'm just assuming here that you three all want to be lions.

Wait a second. if we have 4 quarter rounds with 6 people each, that's 24. But we only have 18 people to participate.
