Extra-cool guy Condog has stepped down as moderator of N discussion and N mapping, so we'll be actively considering candidates to take his place. We thank him for his help in keeping this place together.
Feel free to nominate cool new dudes in this thread.
(P.S.: Required B.S. degree in related field and 5+ years experience)

I'd nominate Cerberus, but I'm not sure about how active he is. He certainly has the talent and experience, but whether he's active enough on here to maintain that role is another question.
What about Riobe? He's fairly active on here, and he's done well enough for himself in the past year or so to warrant a promotion, imo.

Riobe - too new tbh, though he'd make a good one, so why not?
I think Condog was a great mod! But on the good side, he'd be a great extra-cool guy!

lord_day, yahoozy, PALEMOON
They'll be sharing with me, so they'd better: be clean and presentable, be easy going but not too laid back that it drags our productivity down, have a willingness to learn and excellent problem solving skills!
Hours are 9-5 Monday-Sunday (with a half hour break every second Tuesday), rates fluctuate between 'a pat on the back' and 'who are you and what do you do?'.
Benefits include being able to look down on lowly light-blues and a closer (entirely superficial) proximity to our illustrious Admins, thereby installing a fanciful yet desperately satisfying sense of acceptance from your betters.

Yeah, now that you mention it Lord_Day would make a good candidate. Or PALEMOON, if he's more active.

Thumbs up to PALEMOON!
ALL HAIL THE PALE MOOOON! HE IS THE MOST RELIABLE MOON EVER!
Oh Izzy, I love your suggestion. Tunco123 would make a great mod, but PALEMOON has just got that charm which makes Tunco123 nothing compared to him.

The decision has been rendered by me already. The pick was Yahoozy. lord_day isn't active as much, by my reckoning, and I think Yahoozy's had a mod-status coming for longer.atob wrote:lord_day, yahoozy, PALEMOON

It turns out Yahoozy doesn't actually visit the forums he was set to moderate. N Mapping and N Discussion spots are open again.

I am in support of lord_day! He's much more active in the mapping field than Yahoozy is, not to mention much more active on the forums in general.
