Why?

Oh, I wonder if one of the titles is "blue_tetris Impostor".

There is also the 'post count matching' that will result in members jumping ahead a fair few groups.

I have to agree with blue_tetris here. Post count is part of the system, but it isn't work that you have to get. Post count should reflect how you talk and when you want to talk. Some of the more popular members don't even have more posts than me (well ,on the other forum that is). That should tell you something notsteve.

QFE. Yeah, we at least deserve our post counts restored. You can check our IPs to verify it's the same person on both forums, restore the post count, and voila, everyone's happy. Save those few who tried to cheat. They'd be banging their heads on the keyboard and cursing this forum and everyone in it.

It's shocking that the people with several thousands of posts don't seem to be making as much of a fuss. I forget how many I had.

Well,then go back and check!

Actually, I'll make it easy. It's 3543 cumulative posts, with an average of 2.6 posts per day.

I don't think that was the point he was trying to make there...

I don't want my post count back. I'll do the "work" of discovering all of the standard titles.

I don't really mind about the post count. If the admins want to re-bestow it upon us again, then great, but it's not the end of the world.

The only reason why I want my original post count restored is to show my seniority in the forum. Not to sound arrogant or anything, I just don't want newer members to think I got my position for nothing.

On second thought, post count is irrelevant, even if much of the old forum revolved around post counts. Hopefully this will change with this forum.

Read the FAQ's dammit. You're all moaning and arguing about something that has already been decided.
What about my post count at the old forums?

We'll be matching post count for members upon request. After you sign up, send an Administrator (Myself, blue_tetris, or LittleViking) a Personal Message, and we will match your post count to the latest post count we have for you listed at the old forums.

Yeah. I don't think you're supposed to pester the admins yet, though. Give things a couple of weeks.

You guys realize there was something above Forum Dominator at the old forums, right? Maniac got a standard title with a whole bunch of 1's and 0's. I can't be bothered to copy and paste.
As for the posts here, I'd rather not hear the titles all at once. I'd rather see the discovery taking place. More fun, no?

Wait...does this host allow for custom titles? Those were always pretty fun.
