Bitesizing was a great function that gave you a lot of interesting, quality maps. This would be perfect for getting attention to maps, with the recent spam controversies. This could be added side by side with the current feature system, or just alone.
Post here asking to be on the list and I will add you.

I'd like it back too, I suppose. Not that I have anything against Featuring.

Agreed, but not alone, with the current system.

I definitely support this. Playing bad maps can be fun, but sometimes I have the urge to play good maps!

I support Bitesize in tandem with the current Features system, if it's at all possible to code.

Agreed. I still like searching 'bitesized'. It'd be cool to have back alongside featuring.

This needs more thought, rather than a hasty "the olden days were better, lets bring them back by recreating the situation rather than the moments".

Yep, sign me up n this one. I want it back, in tandem with featured maps, as Phedi said.

I'd like featuring to stay, but bitesize would be cool alongside.

Is there anywhere to sign for those of us who are against reinstating bitesizing?

I guess, but this is the thread for people who are pro-bitesize, if you see what I mean.lord_day wrote:Is there anywhere to sign for those of us who are against reinstating bitesizing?

Supported.
Or tweak the hot maps formula so it actually highlights good maps, but I feel like bitesizing is an easier system.

If I post, can I - instead of being added to the list - subtract someone else from the list? If so, take Palemoon off, please. Thanks!

Seconded. It doesn't make sense to have bitesizing and features and regular ratings. I'd focus on improving the way regular maps and features work.lord_day wrote:Is there anywhere to sign for those of us who are against reinstating bitesizing?

I don't think I was around when that happened, but I looked at tags for bitesized, and found really good maps! Quite a lot of inspiration there. I would like to support this cause.

Oh, I think I said this before, but with the current Hot Maps situation, I'd appreciate it if when a map was bitesized it disappeared from the Hot Maps page altogether and rested nicely in its own little spot on the Bitesized page. That way they don't hog all the ratings and bitesized maps can have their own little section completely separate from others maps that may be in more dire need of attention.

All that will mean is that a large swathe of the users will never look at hot maps again, and just rely on bitesize's instead.
