It means two things, really.
One, if the map you submitted is well received by other members, it will get a few extra points. We'll be looking at comments and rates.
Two, if you have a noticeable number of comments on other people's submissions, you will also score a few points for your own submission that round. Constructive in this case means more than usual "i like it, 5ved," "i don't like it," array of comments.

Basically, since the judging system in this contest is so loose and laid back, everyone contributes a little to what the final results will be. It's not a critical factor though. A submission with zero comments and rates by an author who didn't comment on any other submissions that round could still get first place. It just helps tip the scales a little in your favor.

Are entries going to be cut off at a certain point? Because this is going to explode if not.

Nmaps.net

On the first post:
-Please have only around eight map links per line, otherwise my screen extends and I have to scroll.
-Use spoilers for the types of packs so that the page isn't 100 feet long.
-What if you grade authors in groups of ten like how they are listed so that A) there will be more winners, and B) there will be more user-submitted packs.
-Can user-submitted packs be optional, because I'd have a hard time coming up with them.

That is all.

Originally it was set up with spoilers within spoilers within spoilers, so it looked something like this:

Types of Packs
spoiler-----> Tile Packs
spoiler----------> Basic Tiles 1
spoiler-------------> Kajillion 'E' Tiles

But I IBF coded the whole thing like that before realizing that you can't actually put spoilers inside other spoilers. So, I'm sorry you have to scroll so much, but 100 is my favorite number, so it's not all bad.

As for the map thumbnails, it automatically adjusts for me no matter what my window width. Are you using IE or something?

One more minor update!

We added a very extensive FAQ to the original post, in a spoiler. If you've got questions, they are probably answered within the hallowed confines of the spoiler tags labeled 'FAQ'

This was harder than I thought it was going to be. I had fun trying to merge all of the packs I got. Rules:

Rules:

[ I'm Rich, Bitch ]
You must make a dollar sign out of gold somewhere in your map. You can use 15 Extra Gold in your map this round.

[ Lonely Drone Pack ]
1 Blue Drone OR 1 Seeker Drone
10 'E' Tiles
5 'One' Tiles
2 'Four' Tiles
2 'Eight' Tiles
2 'Two' Tiles

[ Air Space Pack ]
2 Thwumps
2 Launchpads
2 Bounce Blocks
2 One-Ways

[ Lifesaver Pack ]

20 of any tiles you want!

Remember you've got to include your pack information and keep your map listed at least until after the judging if you want it to be judged.

Nice, you added a FAQ, however this is the 1st round, people will surely have more questions.
And I edited my map, I wrote the packs I used. And I'm a bit screwed up with this, still I have some questions in my mind though, this is the 1st round, I have my map.

I love this contest. Also, during judging, please keep in mind how hard it was to make an abstract tileset with 20 tiles. :/

EDIT:

Make your Tileset as abstract as you can.

10 Gold
1 Locked Door

2 'One' Tiles
2 'Two' Tiles
2 'Three Tiles
2 'Six' Tiles
2 'Seven' Tiles

4 'Six' Tiles
4 'E' Tiles

I made a map:
Nmaps.net

Couple of questions: With the 'Breakfast virus' pack, I assume we still have to tag it mapdraftx?
Also, my packs were sent before these new rules, but I made the map afterwards. I hope that's still cool?

EDIT: USERBAR! USERBAR! USERBAR! USERBAR! USERBAR!
EDIT#2: Just an idea, but if you had a spearate submission thread, people could each have one post on the thread and add a map to their post each week. Probably rubbish, but I thought it might be worth considering.

You don't have to tag your map with mapdraftX. It's just helpful to us in the long run, but so long as the map has a link to it posted in this thread we'll find it. So if your Rule limits the tags you can use, mapdraftX is no exception. I should reword that answer in the FAQ. Either way you don't need to worry about that at all until the next round starts.
And yeah, Palemoon and I will be keeping the FAQ up to date as new questions show up.
