That makes me sad :(

I can't stand borderless sigs. They don't look complete.

I've changed my mind, I made a terrible mistake.

Also, I felt like something animated.

And now I realize that we're all talking about 2 different things. When I say "borderless" I mean:

Heheh, I made it up ages ago. Was originally Guitar_Hero_Matt or GHM, but then people started misspelling it for no reason and I changed it on here as a joke. It doesn't stand for anything.

It seems most of the sigs in SoTWs here are stocks with text.

I could be wrong, but that's all I'm seeing from a glance.

No offense to anyone.

Firstly, dominating text is one hard thing, imo.
Secondly, what matters is the looks of it, no matter what you do to it.

And thirdly, seeing the latest SOTW, I haven't seen any sig who had just text over a totally unmodified stock. -- if you see, and it looks good... then that's a pretty good excuse :D

This just happens to be the trend. Back when I started everybody used brushes. usaswim, Samrat16 and myself were the main ones that I can remember, though there were undoubtedly 10 others that are escaping me right now.
But yeah. Within the last year it has been stocks and photo editing.

No no, the borderlessness was a mistake. So I changed it. The avatar wasn't a mistake, I just found something better.

Izzy does the stuff I'm used to.

Also, I'm kind of in a slump atm, but I made this from scratch:

I was bored. Don't like it quite as much as I like this:

man, the memories. I think the incluye one was one of his first sigs on the forums, and that Skyline one I had to make the ink splotches around the S because the font didn't come that way originally. And the nevermore one is just badass IMO.

The only brushes I really use are for light, or in some cases effects:

But most of the time, I use parts of c4ds for effects. :P

Seriously? It's 264px × 160px. Just wait 'til people start making square sigs; or worse, 160px × 250px sigs!

Wow, I love how my new set looks on Chrome. GAH. Hope I haven't ruined it by using an avatar from the sig, though.
