Yesterday I had 800 (or thereabouts) rated maps.
Today I have 489.

What's going on?

Goblins, obviously. Yeah, they stole my rated maps too. What exactly is causing this bug? I'm guessing it's to do with the new histogram, but I'm not sure as to how one causes the other.

It appears to be a bug in certain App Engine queries. In order to provide the new histogram, I had to run a task to update all the user entries, which included regenerating the counts - unfortunately, including the bug. I'm building a new index to fix it now.

Okay, so, before the change it said everyone had more rated maps than they actually did. This made me look good.
After the change, it says everyone has less rated maps than they actually do. This makes me look bad.
I don't like the change.

On a more serious note, I like the histogram change, even though it's actually showing the exact same information; it's simply easier to understand.

Soon enough, it'll show exactly the right number. ;)

And actually, the new graph uses 10 segments, not 5. :)

it cant be targeting old users cuz it took every other map i had from 2 years ago then stoped taking 6 maps, seems to be about 1/3 to 1/2 average of the maps are lost

its weird cuz the rated maps are in my profile but not under the rated section, so there there but not there

yea my guess is that new system, the new thing while it was counting rated map must have glitched and found some maps void and put them under the regular maps but out of the rated

overall its doing something to the profile pages and nothing else

Delisted maps count towards the ratings count. Have you delisted a shit load of maps in the past?

Err. Yes. I've delisted my shitty maps. And I'd prefer not to find/relist them.
