Just came out of my mind... which is better to put with a hotdog? I mean, the filling: ketchup, mustard, both ketchup and mustard, or something else? Like chocolate (yes, some kids DO put chocolate with their hotdogs!)?

Mustard. Spicy, Dijon, regular, they're all fine with me.

I used to believe that nothing besides ketchup belonged on a hot dog. That was before I turned 11 years old.
These days, on the rare occasions I do have a hot dog, I go for mustard, chopped onions, and relish. I do relish the relish.

I really love hot dog when there's nothing in, except that meat thing that's supposed to be dog's penis (I don't know how it's called on English, :-) )
Anything else... just ruins it for me. But that's just because I hate ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or anything similar.

Ugh, I don't really like hotdogs all that much because I work at a place that sells "gourmet" hotdogs and sausages, but every now and then I'll have one. We have over 35 different toppings you can choose from, so there is a lot I like on a dog. My usual would be chipotle mayo, grilled onions, and tomatoes.

What you can pick from includes: red, white, or grilled onion, grilled bell pepper, relish, bacon bits, grilled or cold sauerkraut, raw or grilled mushrooms, chili, lettuce, tomato, cole slaw, grated cheddar cheese, avocado, pickle slices or spears, sport peppers, celery or garlic salt, cucumber, pineapple, jalapeno peppers, dried cranberries, pine nuts, black olives, fetta cheese, and those are just the "dry" items. For dressings we have teriyaki sauce, BBQ sauce, yellow mustard, dijon mustard, spicy brown mustard, Cleveland Stadium mustard, ketchup, mayo, chipotle mayo, Tapatio hot sauce, ranch, bleu cheese, 1000 Island, and lite Italian dressing. That's a hell of a lot to choose from.

ketchup, mustard, relish and a pre-packaged slice of cheese (like Velveeta or Kraft singles brand). usually I put everything that's available on the kitchen table of my white-trash family home. I've never tried it with chili, but that does sound delicious

Tomato sauce and grated cheese. Also, I'm fairly sure Kraft Singles are a type of plastic, not cheese.

My thought process reading through that went something like:
"Ooh, that sounds good. Ooh, that sounds even better. Sport peppers? I wonder what that is. Pineapple? Seriously? Who takes pineapp-- cranberries? Pine nuts? Olives?? Is there seriously a market for cranberry, olive hot dogs?"
