Mapmaking is pretty much the greatest thing I've ever found about N.

I've never touched any programming language, not even Basic or HTML. I've never tried to make maps for games like Crysis or Quake or even Soldat. Why? It's just so big and complicated!

N changes all of that because you only play with three buttons and the mapmaker is so simple and yet allows you to create whole WORLDS within a thirtysomething by thirtysomething box.

Yeah.

The reason why I play all games - because I enjoy it. Swearing many times when dying included.

i think n as a game is boring and too simple. but i make levels to gain creativity. i guess you could say that's why i'm around numa. if it weren't for the community, i'd still be making levels. so until i find a better way to increase my creativity, i'll be stuck around here.

I didnt mean I play it purely for completion purposes, certainly the custom content is a huge draw. In fact n is the closest thing I can think of to LittleBigPlanet... both fairly simple games (both platformers in fact) but with quite literally unlmited potential thanks to unrestricted custom content.

I probably would've stopped playing as soon as I beat 1.4 until 1.5 comes out (whenever that will be) if i hadn't found out about NED.

I play N because there is this certain feeling, when beating a hard map, or when doing an awesome run on a nice map.
N is quite simple, yet very fun to play (in some maps) so I won't get off playing, since so many new maps are released by very many different author who all have a different style.

Id probably say I play N because its a free creative outlet. Its like painting paintings and then being able to walk around them. Its quite cool :P

i started out playing for fun, however now i love playing all the levels.

i completed N, and have only recently started Nreality, so i want to complete that as well.

But the map making and user-map playing has kept me interested and it has kept me coming back, even though i say im going to quit, i can never quite manage it.

I don't have much else that's better to do.
Also, remaining in the community has introduced me to quite a few other games I don't think I would've discovered otherwise.

I play for many reasons. Sometimes as a past time. Also to make lvls. I used to love playing it and tying to beat all the levels but i don't play much anymore. Sometimes i feel i play it because i have nothing better to do. So yes, i have many reasons.

agreed.

just like runescape, i only stayed on to become one of the best, most renowned authors.

unlike runescape, the community here is comical, honest, intelligent, and all around badass.

i played N for maybe a month before getting bored with it, then one day i had nothing to do, and i discovered Numa. from that day on i have been known everywhere as the unrelentless eganic. dun dun dun!! and i have yet to become bored of Numa, but once the community stops being badass, i will stop enjoying N and probably quit.

I play N because I want to test my problem solving and have fun at the same time; I figure out how to best beat a level. In a world full of unforgiving parents, you don't get many opportunities for this other than N.

But mostly, I Play to Make, because I am amazed at what the human mind can come up with under the right circumstances.

I also like the community. It's great having on-line friends.

Overall... It's getting progressively better. I'm a bit interested to see where it goes from here.
Think you have ideas worth contributing to my comics? If so, PM me your idea and I might put it in my comic. And, of course, your name will be cited in the comic.
