Type in FRESH NEW PROXIES
Click on the first result, the google group
Click on the current date
And there you go, 10 new proxies
If you don't know how to use a proxy then, well, you can't be helped.

GOD FUCKING DAMNIT. MAKES ME SO FUCKING ANGRY.Inspired wrote:Today is a sad day. My school's internet picked up on a stray swear word and decided to ban NUMA (http://www.nmaps.net) for offensive material. ;_; Only the other week it also banned the forums also for containing offensive material. ;_;
The thing that annoys me most is that technically I am not allowed on the computer at home for non school related stuff so school was the only place. If you could help me to get onto NUMA and/or the forums I would be much obliged, sadly proxy sites are out of the question....
In other news I need a new avatar, any takers?

Oh, I'm using for years, and trust it, but you don't? Well, logic. :/Inspired wrote:Tunco I don't know whether to trust that link as it looks to be a proxy site which I have said won't do.
And, you nearly don't have any chance of passing those internet blockers without proxies, but that's just imo.

You're missing the point. He can't implement Poxy servers at school. At least that's what I'm assuming. These kind of privileges tend to be blocked along with everything else or the kids would just negate the issues with a quick google search.Tunco123 wrote:Oh, I'm using for years, and trust it, but you don't? I reckon your best bet would be to either appeal directly to whoever is in charge of your computer lab and try to reason with them by showing them the sites in question, or confronting your parents and asserting your responsibility. I don't see any technical fix for this that's not going to get you in trouble.

I wouldn't try to be so devious, your parents could see through it and it could damage your efforts. But then you know how your parents think best, so if you think it'll work that way then give it a shot.Inspired wrote:Hmm, yeah maybe I will have to create a thread of sorts that is school work related that could help my side of the argument.I reckon your best bet would be to either appeal directly to whoever is in charge of your computer lab and try to reason with them by showing them the sites in question, or confronting your parents and asserting your responsibility. What are their exact reasons for not letting you use the computer for recreational activities?

However, if you don't have a cellphone, I'll also guess that the computer is in your room, and then it wouldn't be a problem to ocassionally sneak in.
If your parents are often in the room where the computer is get Opera, it has a bin to get back any closed tabs. At the moment someone gets in, close the tab and wait. Also, you can hide Opera into the tray, which can also be helpfull.
Just wondering, how do you access to the Internet now?

You can sign up for his mass website URL emails at the Peacefire website or any of the proxys that you are able to access. The latest bypass site is http://www.stupidreader.com/
Bennett Haselton does not spam you, I know this because I have been using his proxys for over a year now.
Sometimes putting https:// instead of http:// at the start of the URL also gets you past the filter, and if you have a USB drive you can try taking a different internet browser to your school and running it from your USB, that also might get you through.
If you are doing things you aren't meant to be doing at home when your parents are home there's a handy program called Bosskey, pressing some keys (that you can set) switches you to a different desktop right away, that way you won't be caught doing anything as long as you have good ears and reflexes. You can store it on your USB if you don't want people to find it by accident. Using bosskey takes you to a COMPLETELY different desktop, nothing minimized will show up or anything.
If these methods don't work, I can't really help you.

Orange- N cannot be spoken, or even thought about in my household. If my parents ever found out that I have played N since the cleansing, my life would be ruined. I keep the game in a multi-passworded .rar on a USB flash drive inside a locked boron alloy container that requires two keys to open (I keep one under the 64th hammer in my piano, and the other one in a small section of removable ceiling in the corner of the attic) hidden in a wall compartment lined with aluminium foil to prevent sonar detection behind my 375 kg cupboard, which is bolted to the floor - the only way to reach it is to abseil outside the fourth floor window and use a screwdriver to unfasten the screws holding the secret brick in place on the opposite side of the wall, but the screwdriver must be a specific type like the one I own, since if any other screwdriver comes into contact with the screws, the entire building will explode, as will a seperate charge placed inside the boron alloy container, rendering the USB useless. Even once the container is retrieved, attemping to open it without the arming pin in place (which is kept inside the battery compartment of my Maglite) will cause the water reservoirs lining the container to burst and react with the caesium lining, causing the container to burst into flames - the only way to prevent this is to use the arming pins to shut off the reservoirs with a sliding steel door. The USB itself contains an accelerometer linked to an explosive charge, meaning that if the USB detects its own movement speed as being greater than 5 cm/s, it will explode - any person attempting to steal it would have to move at a uselessly slow speed. Once plugged into a computer, the USB will upload a ghost virus onto it, leaving no traces. Only the right password can deactivate this virus, and if it is left on the computer for more than six hours, it will format all drives.
As you can see, I take my N playing very seriously.
Guiseppi- I'd much rather watch animals get boned in the ass.
Yanni- If it's glad, it's not rape.
Tsukatu- I refuse to use throw-away bags for such a frequent purpose as buying groceries. Instead, I've collected the hair of my two pet dogs and have woven them together into an all-natural, 100% environmentally friendly bag that I bring with me everywhere. And when I buy products that come in glass and plastic containers, I track down the company that packages them and ship back their containers so that they don't take up space in landfills.
Yeah, I use plastic.
Tsukatu- I hear Ebony Online is great, too. Cum save your princess, my lord!

Ska- why d i get the feeling what i typed will end up in the quote depository; or worse: someone's sig.
KinGAleX- I did it on the couch a little while ago.

My lil trick is to replace the "http://" in the address bar with "https://". Surprisingly, it works! Or at least it does with Megaproxy; I honestly haven't tried on any other site. The thing with Megaproxy, however, is that there's a quota on how much you browse, beyond which this proxy does not go :[ But then again, that would only be a problem after I cap that quota on all sixty-two computers :]

Other then that, I remember a few several years back (got damn, middle school has been over 5 years ago), my schools filter could be got around by finding the IP of the domain you are trying to get to, and using that instead of the domain name. To find the IP, just go to the command prompt, and type 'ping <url>' (without the ' and <>'s). Then enter the resulting ip in your browser. This was just on my middle schools rather pathetic filter, which could be got around in quite a few different ways, anything more advanced will probably block this method as well, but I suppose it is worth a shot.

Back on topic, I can see why the forums would be banned. Various experiences with GTM have confirmed this. Several times I've been having to research some Chemistry, with Matt next to me on the forums. Seeing as this is pair work, I can't exactly go on the forums, and have to work my arse off to get the work done.
Thanks GTM.
But, this leads to an interesting disscusion/debate. Of which would be something like "How far should schools control the internet access of it's pupils", or "Should schools block websites, or allow students to have free access to the web; yet punish them for going onto sites they shouldn't be on".
