Do you own a copy of Metanet Software's console and handheld title? If so, talk about it here!

Hi guys! Some of you may remember me from the old forums, I used to go on them a lot. I have missed loads, so I would just like to ask a few questions:

1) Should I buy N+ for the PSP? Is it good? (I remember the hype)
2) Is N v1.5 out yet? (I remember people having links to it that led you to zombie sites :P)
3) Are these forums still used as much as back in '06

Thanks for any help guys, and thanks Metanet, for making an awesome game which I have spent hours on!

Regards,

Staples

From what I understand, neither of the handheld versions could hold a candle up to the Xbox version - both of them have obvious flaws, and the support for the handheld N+s hasn't been great. I don't think the online's looking good for either of them. That said, it's gotten good reviews, and it's still N, awkward bounceblocks aside.

N v1.5 isn't out, and won't be out for a very long time. M&R are currently working on Robotology (updates on which you can read at the metablog). Once that's done, they'll get to v1.5 at some point after that.

I'm only an end '06 person, but I'd say the forums are used more now than they were then. Whether it's the same sort of atmosphere is a different question, but then that's subjective. It's always awesome to have old members back again, though.

Edit: Oh, and yeah you can create maps on the PSP version.

Thanks, I think I remember you :P And is robotology still the code name? Or the official one? (Thanks for keeping me updated!)

I'm pretty sure Robotology's gonna be the official name now, yeah, but don't take my word for it. :D

Ok, thanks. I am gutted I can't create new maps though, macbooks don't have a numpad :(

Will have to get my 3rd party applications of my Dad's PC and see if they work.

New macbooks don't have that function. I will try and find an application to do it though.
