Linear means linear. You can put in some gold cubbyholes, but there can only be one path.

If that was the case, then any map would be linear by definition. "All maps can be completed, hence all maps are linear." is the view that's put across by this statement. Which is false.

Also, in retrospect, I probably should have made something more out of this than just the structure.

Maybe a little more literal than the other maps...

How do you get an image of it?

Submit it to Numa.
Post the map link.
Ex: http://nmaps.net/23
And then highlight the map link, click "numa" when you are at the post page.
It should be the code [ numa ] http://nmaps.net/23 [ numa ] (without the space, of course.)

'k.

Submissions officially closed. Sorry for being a bit late. Skyline will be submitting his map tomorrow or late tonight. He's made it, but won't be able to upload it until later.

What you've all been waiting for:

cheesemonger
Fun: 15/50 Pretty boring and awkward.
Aesthetics: 9/25 Competent but dull. Also atob trees.
Use of theme: 10/25 Those trees are mighty needleful to be smoldering.
Total: 34/100

Cheez
Fun: 25/50 The chaingun wasn't great, but after that I enjoyed playing it.
Aesthetics: 6/25 Pretty ugly. :/
Use of theme: 5/25 So I'm . . . walking on a smoke cloud above some pointy lines? I dunno, man.
Total: 36/100

Erik-Player
Fun: 40/50 A few false notes, but the pathing is just delicious.
Aesthetics: 23/25 You make me jealous, man. Extraordinary tileset accented wonderfully by the objects.
Use of theme: 18/25 A bit loosely interpreted, but the sparse objects do make it feel like something recovering from fire.
Total: 81/100

Flycatcher
Fun: 20/50 Tiles were awkward to move around on, gausses were irritating. Well placed, though, I give you that.
Aesthetics: 10/25 Pretty crudely built, but passable. In fact, generic enough to be very passable. *Ba-dum-TSH!*
Use of theme: 15/25 Using mines as embers worked well. Not bad in that regard.
Total: 45/100

goatman
Fun: 30/50 Quite the blast. It would've enjoyed it more if it were more flowy, though.
Aesthetics: 12/25 Yay diagonal lauchpads! :D
Use of theme: 1/25 Um, it's a bit smokey, I guess? :/
Total: 43/100

GTM
Fun: 30/50 I wish it was just a smidge easier, but an enjoyable expierence overall.
Aesthetics: 20/25 Rather generic, but damn man, you know how to make it work
Use of theme: 4/25 Erm, I guess I see suggestions? I dunno, though. I dunno.
Total: 54/100

Izzy
Fun: 20/50 Eh, not revolting.
Aesthetics: 10/25 Like you said, pretty ugly. Nice penis gold, though.
Use of theme: 8/25 I rather see it, I suppose.
Total: 38/100

Kablamo
Fun: 10/50 I call shenanigans. This is hardly linear, so I'm chopping ten points off the Fun rating.
Aesthetics: 5/25 Generic and stupid. I feel like I'm playing through 12000 other maps, all the exact same.
Use of theme: 3/25 I'm thinking got some 'splainin' to do.
Total: 18/100

EvilEmpire
Fun: 34/50 Great fun playing with the laser.
Aesthetics: 21/25 Superb as always. I dig the three teeth on the skull.
Use of theme: 20/25 Now this I get. Really nailed it here, PM.
Total: 75/100

Riobe
Fun: 15/50 Not much variety. What you've built is built well, but it's quite common.
Aesthetics: 20/25 Absolutely stunning tileset. I'd like to be able to craft like you.
Use of theme: 10/25 I'd call that On the fire, rather than after.
Total: 45/100

Songrigal
Fun: 30/50 I just can't help enjoying this. It's generic and familiar and nothing special, but it has honest fun to it.
Aesthetics: 5/25 No, not very attractive. Nice frying pan, though.
Use of theme: 11/25 A lot like Riobe, but an extra point for actually leaving the fire.
Total: 46/100

SlappyMcGee
Fun: 10/50 I liked the cloud. But it's really not linear, so 10 points off.
Aesthetics: 4/25 Eww.
Use of theme: 23/25 Yes.
Total: 37/100

toasters
Fun: 35/50 That rocket is perfectly placed. The movement is so easy in this map.
Aesthetics: 20/25 Don't like the oneways, but the rest is great.
Use of theme: 23/25 Juuuuust right.

Tunco123
Fun: 5/50 It was awkward to move around on and I did not enjoy it at all. Also, the linearity feels very forced.
Aesthetics: 3/25 Ugly and ill-considered. Just looking at this map makes me want to not play it.
Use of theme: 3/25 So they're supposed to be burned out buildings? Then what's with the objects? It just doesn't mesh.
Total: 11/100

Wight
Fun: 15/50 Too hard and frustrating.
Aesthetics: 15/25 Average. The trees are nicely twisted.
Use of theme: 15/25 A decent interpretation.
Total: 45/100

Blackson
Fun: 20/50 Meh, I enjoyed it. Not linear at all, though, so ten points off.
Aesthetics: 10/25 Generic but pretty. I like the big gap at the bottom.
Use of theme: 1/25 Hahahahah what?
Total: 31/100
