I think the BB was traveling up when you met with it, and thus you were able to jump off of it...Meta Ing wrote:I was making a map, and while I was playtesting it I got this weird bounceblock jump that looks almost like a corner jump. o_O

I just got back from vacation and saw this. Very nice run. I had worked on this route for a while but never even thought of doing the second wj off the opposite side. I'm not even going to try to beat this (partially because in my work on the route I found that doing in-between launchpad jumps at full speed is a nightmare for me).Meta Ing wrote:89-2 speed 0th. Hmm, I wonder what would have happened if the final time for the level was actually negative, since it was done as part of the episode. Would it have submitted a negative time to Unreality's servers, and could we watch it go into the negatives without dying?999_Springs wrote:I like the fact that, if you watch it, the timer momentarily flips to the wrong side of zero just before you get that last piece of gold.natrues peril wrote:lol, my 83-3 highscore is 1 frame from death
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point
[16:25] <trance> Oh, yeah. That level.

It won't actually record a level score and instead just show ---.golfkid wrote:Hmm, I wonder what would have happened if the final time for the level was actually negative, since it was done as part of the episode. That is what would happen for highscore. But the speedrun table would have the negative score on it - I've seen that happen. However, the fastest negative score is poppinfresh's speedrun on that level, which is now 21st, so you can't view it anymore.darkshadow wrote:It won't actually record a level score and instead just show ---.golfkid wrote:Hmm, I wonder what would have happened if the final time for the level was actually negative, since it was done as part of the episode. That happened to me loads of times when I was trying to get 0th on the highscore board for that level. (growls at Seifer)darkshadow wrote:The end of my 126-1 speedrun is hilarious.
Perhaps it's hilarious the first time, but when you do it for the 836th or so time, with a demo about 3 frames off your personal best, and having wasted over an hour doing that level, it's not so funny after all.

He meant the highscore 0th. (which was held by xaelar)ToeFaceKiller wrote:Not my speedrun... or were you talking about Meta_Ing?
I played it after I saw that this was a chimney level, (and after I saw TRO's post), to see if I could beat him, and I ended up taking both speed and highscore.
