Dude, I've been in the exact same fucking mood lately. Once In A Lifetime on the Youtube is just a single-cam-job on Byrne, and he does the job.
Guy is a freakin' legend. The Stop Making Sense DVD is absolutely brilliant, I'd recommend a buy. Some of it's on You tube, if you fancy checking it out.

If you haven't seen the Big Suit interview then do, it's hilarious.

I believe my fave from TFAF would be "Tetris for Kicks", but "I, Simian" is pretty good, too.

I, Simian's ferocity grew on me and stuck with me long after Tetris for Kicks lost it's appeal.

We don't play 'I, Simian' anymore. It's a consistent favourite though, so perhaps we should think about reviving it...

Perhaps you should. That's my personal favorite from you guys. I use it to pump myself up before tennis matches. No joke. :)

We need to update the end of the song. Gets pretty boring to play. I'll probably add some vocals to it and see what the guys think.

Anyway, new music? If you like intelligent, light hearted, alternative indie then Sky Larkin might be just what you need.

Check 'Antibodies' and 'Matador', it's all good though!

I'm not sure if I listen to any Indie bands, but I listen to grunge/alternative rock.

You know, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains(a bit heavier), Green Day, stuff like that.

I guess our music tastes are influenced by what we listened to when we were little, eh? :3

I grew up listening to Ozzy and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Nirvana on the radio, and I remember hearing Enter Sandman every now and then.

Totally. Tangerine Dream got me interested in the entire electronic genre to begin with!

I might listen to it later.

Electronic's cool, but I haven't heard much from it. Just Daft Punk, really. :3

Oh yeah, Uzi's stuff is pretty cool.

If you like these bands, or at least the first four, you should check out The Pixies! <3. Which is currently what I am spinning the most, specifically surfer rosa.

Nirvana got that whole loud chorus, soft verse structure from The Pixies, so if you like Nirvana you'll probably enjoy them as well.

Over the past month or so I've been listening to primarily Don Caballero and Joanna Newsom. Stars of the Lid as well, specifically Stars of the Lid and Their Refinement of the Decline on vinyl. It's a terrific album to half-sleep to.

Don Cab and Newsom? You have good taste. Have you heard Battles? Same guitarist as Don Caballero's. :)

It's funny because Skyline's just a filter for the various musical tastes of, like, three people in this community.
