It's made in flash, but N 1.4 runs in Macromedia Flash Player 7.
NReality runs in Adobe Flash Player 9.
There is the difference.
Though, most of the games on the web is made in Flash.

I'm fairly sure that Flash 8 (or CS2, if you like) was used, seeing as CS3 didn't come out until after the game's initial release. Come to think of it, they probably used a previous version for the original release of N.
Check out www.adobe.com for more about Flash, though from what I've heard, ActionScript (the programming language in Flash) isn't the easiest to learn, so good luck.

Probably still Flash, or maybe Java. I don't know too much about graphical programming languages, but I'd say those are the big two.zan3011 wrote:Thanks everyone for the contribution, but what software could i use to make a ame like n or in the style of n? sory but im a newbie, please help!!
You'll have a great challenge coming up with a decent physics simulator, so I'd most second Wight - if you are trying to undertake anything this complex, at least make sure that you've done some simpler things first.

The short answer is, zan, if you want to make levels for n, since nreality, we have more options than ever! And if you want to make a different style of game, then you're going to need to code it yourself.
