Suggestion:
Change the rules. If you only take the five first submitted, you are going to take down the quality of the submitted maps. (I think)
I suggest you make the entering data 1 or 2 day, and take every map submitted in that/those day(s)?
I think that would be better. What do you think?

Everyday would be fine. Every two days is too much. However, considering the winner from last has to judge, I doubt a random person would want to judge too many maps :P

this would also allow more people to see the contest and participate in it, as well as get a lot more author variety

I agree, it seems to be the same five authors posting maps each time. More time would allow better quality maps, and more variation.PALEMOON wrote:

By popular demand, the rules have been changed. Now the contest will end exactly 24 hours after the theme is posted.

I am proud to announce that the winner of this last theme is claire. It was not only a great map, but fit the theme best. Congratulations.

Literally, "After the end of the Earth." There's this nifty thing called the internet that can answer any question you could ever have. You should try it sometime.

yes, because both equal .333...
even if the numbers are different the end value is the same.
does that make sense?

:)
The next theme is...
Laser drones Concepts!
Whoever can use laser drones in the most inventive and fun way wins the contest. I might enter one of my maps, I might not. The maps will not only be rated on gameplay, but also on looks and a chosen theme that you want to convey. But the main feature has to be excellent use of laser drones.
