MickyTP wrote:The disregard most of you show for clothes is unbelievable. I dress to the very best I can. I take pride in my appearance. Sure, comfort is important, but as long as they don't scrape against you or whatever, it doesn't matter.

That said, most of the money I manage to get my hands on (gifts, pocket money, etc) goes towards clothes. Especially so as my parents promise to double my money if it goes on clothes. I managed to get a £250 parka jacket, limited edition. It's bloody beautiful. But the fact that most of you don't like clothes.... WOW.
In many western societies it is considered gay for a man to worry about clothes, and a cause for concern if a boy is overly interested in clothes. Most of the people here are guys.

When I can scrape some money together for winter I plan to buy
-jeans
-long sleeve shirt
-zip jacket
-shoes that aren't chucks

Actually SkyPanda I think the fact is that most guys just throw on whatever they have lying on their floor, so long as it doesn't seem like it needs to be washed.

The first thing I though of when I saw when I clicked on your link Micky was English. That is not a bad thing, however I generally do not like the way the English cut their clothes. It always seems you have to be lanky to fit properly into them. I do, in fact, know my fair share of Englishmen, and all of them I have met have been quite thin. Maybe it is just internet demographics. I'm not really talking about skinny jeans, (which I hate), but I can only imagine a skinny person wearing English clothing. Unless the person in question happens to be bald, but that is for a different thread I think.

For the record I wear Polos, collared shirts on occasion (of many colors and patterns), as well as jeans that are neither skinny nor baggy. In warmer weather I wear non-denim shorts, sometimes plaid. For formal wear, suits, suits, suits.

Why does being gay mean that you have to care about fashion and clothing?

Stupid generalizations. :(

T-shirt, more or less tighter fitting. Jeans. Shoes that go with the outfit. Sounds pretty typical, but the stuff I wear has a more indie feel to it than a mainstream.

In Summer I wear short-sleeved shirts and short denim pants.
In Winter I wear regular T-shirts and jeans. And a sweater on top if it's cold.

No exceptions

t-shirt, jeans, sometimes socks. I'm not surprised no one here wears underwear, unless there a subtle implication that you all do. I still wear the +/- 20 shirts I bought from Foot Locker 5 years ago, most still fit. I have on in every colour of the rainbow. Hence my friends call me "Hippie Kid" from time-to-time, those wackjobs.

In the majority of cases, underwear is implied by pants, I think. And statistics say we almost all wear boxer shorts.

Jeans, a t-shirt, maybe a hoodie, if it's not too hot. Formally? Nice jeans, nice shirt, maybe a nice hoodie, if it's not to hot.

I would LOVE to actually have a dark brow leather trenchcoat, around shin length, (unless all trenchcoats are actually this length. In which case I WIN!) black cargo pants, a little lower than waist length white shirt, with black lettering, and a black or dark gray hoodie. Don't ask me why I want a hoodie and a trenchcoat, as well as a shirt with lettering. If it were possible to incorporate a hoodie into the trenchcoat, well, the hoodie would be out the window.

Generally, though, my style is pretty plain. I have a few... interesting shirts, but they're mostly plain, solid colors. The main reason for this being that I don't have money for no fancy stuffs.

I usually wear Nike indoor football (soccer) shoes all the time. Maybe a polo but I prefer white shirts.

And mainly cargo shorts.

FOOTBALL!!!
There's a reason your thread was locked. Please, shut up.
Since it's Summer, I just wear a t-shirt and shorts, maybe a jumper in the evenings.
