This is what happens when you play N with those strobe lights that blink on and off repeatedly and make things look like frame-by-frame animations. Except not fun at all.

I wish this map was as fun as it looked.

Well, I thought it was linear! Terrible rocket placement. It doesn't seem like you spent very much time on the gameplay of the map at all.
"Strategically Placed Tripwire"

I hope that is a Quadradius reference. Chainguns really, really bother me, and I definitely think this map could have used a little bit more maneuvering room. But still, not bad. I like the one ways a lot.

Wow, those chainguns weren't threatening at all. Lacking in any kind of replayability. It's basically just a bad minejumper with some chainguns that pretend to help the map, but instead they don't. THEY JUST DON'T.

Should PALEMOON still be in this competition? He hasn't posted AGDs for the last three maps. 9_9

PALEMOON
Fun: 40/50
Aesthetics: 20/25
Use of theme: 23/25
Total: 83/100
Absolutely splendid. Your maps for LMC3 have been unfailingly brilliant, and this is no exception. <3
incluye
Fun: 30/50
Aesthetics: 17/25
Use of theme: 17/25
Total: 64/100
Lots of fun. Jumping around, dodgin' the chains, it's all good.
Erik-Player
Fun: 26/50
Aesthetics: 21/25
Use of theme: 19/25
Total: 66/100
Gameplay was very weak, given what the tileset suggested. I would've liked a less roundabout ascension.
GTM
Fun: 20/50 (minus ten for non-linearity, to wit the leftmost trapdoor is unnecessary )
Aesthetics: 14/25
Use of theme: 22/25
Total: 56/100
It was rather enjoyable when not frustrating. I agree with mintnut that gausses were the wrong enemies.
Riobe
Fun: 35/50
Aesthetics: 13/25
Use of theme: 15/25
Total: 63/100
Fun but rather bland take on the theme. I did like how once you got used to it, you could breeze right through.
maxson924
Fun: 36/50
Aesthetics: 18/25
Use of theme: 10/25
Total: 64/100
You hardly used the theme at all, but it looked fucking sick and was quite fun to flow through.

Wait, what? You announced the deadline would be same as always from when the next theme was announced. Therefore, 29th, not 26th. Surely? That was only a draft :/
I mean, that map was okay, but I made it assuming I'd have a week from the theme being announced to make a final version? Eh? Not to be whiny or anything :P

"Castle in the Sky: Chapter 1" by Erik-Player
Gameplay: 45/50
Aesthetics: 22/25
Theme: 10/25
Total: 77/100
I enjoyed the layout, gameplay, and tileset, but I think the enemy placement was a little lackluster. That zap drone on the right side could've been used better, and it would have been cool if in the top left, you were aimed at by the gauss in that little gold cubby. Just minor details that would have made the map more impressive. Regardless of the map title, I didn't feel like I was very high while playing this. Heh.
"Astrophysics, baby." by Guitar_Hero_Matt
Gameplay: 20/50 (minus ten points for nonlinearity)

You like making nonlinear maps, eh?
"heng em highe" by incluye
Gameplay: 30/50

The only thing being hung high here is your mapping prowess. But seriously, I thought it was a good concept executed poorly.
"Red Bull Gives You Wings" by maxson924
Gameplay: 20/50
Aesthetics: 15/25
Theme: 15/25
Total: 50/100
Quite an atmospheric map, like floating on cloud wisps. The map was far too short and stupid to be any good, though. Those zaps are more pesky than fun.
"Beyond the Bullets" by Riobe
Gameplay: 35/50
Aesthetics: 25/25
Theme: 17/25

I think the bounce blocks made the map a little too easy and quick. A nice awkward map would have been better.
"Wasted Effort" by PALEMOON
Gameplay: 42/50
Aesthetics: 12/25
Theme: 25/25
Total: 79/100
Very creative and challenging map.

Hahahah, sorry GTM, I should've been specific. By "regular deadline" I meant it would be Saturday, as usual, rather than in a week, as semi-usual. Anyway, I'm afraid you (GTM) and maxson are out. Good run!
Now, on to the business of the final round. That's right, final. I'm giving you a week-and-a-half to craft the best linear map you can make. No theme, just try your dammedest to make your best linear map yet.
Also there will be a twist ending.

Haha, no worries. I didn't think I'd make it on that tbh. I told maxson this would happen :3
I'll probably make a linear map anyways, not for the comp, but just to prove I can actually make a convincing linear map without going completely tunnels :P
