Yays. I've created my first image map. Problem? Quality sucks. Observe: Looks kind of choppy at places, and it doesn't extrend far enough to the right. Also, I can't do inverse curves(4 tiles). Are there any programs that are:
*compatible with mac
*have grid-snapping of 12 pixels per snap (to fit the contours of the tiles; 12 for 5s, 6s, and 7s)
*have transparency (not to big, photobucket can do this)
*freeware
*ease of use
I desperately want to be able to do this, but I can't! Any help for a long lost soul?

Just screenshot your tiles and paste them into your paint program. Then draw the foreground over it.

I believe Pikman/kisler had a similar predicament way back in the day, except I think he had Windows. I believe the only thing anyone suggested to him was to use GIMP, but I know nothing about that program and I don't think Pikman ever figured out how to do transparency with GIMP. I believe, from its Wikipedia page, that it's Mac compatible, so give it a look.
