You can change the skin to your desired one in your User CP. I prefer Hermes or prosilver (yeah, I'm boring). This forum is like a day old. Give the staff time to work everything out.
I'm loving these new forums already. Attachments to PMs and posts with a nice 5 MB limit, more embedding options, several new features I want to try out, and a nice layout in terms of the forums and their sections. The team who made this did a great job. :)

All looks pretty sound to me. Default is easily the best theme, from a taste point of view.

I'm lovin' the new forums. And certain new staff positions. Woo! All this change is very exciting, and I think that once the transition is complete this will be a marked improvement.

Congrats, Twistkill. ^_^
Also, did you guys see "Metanet Overlord" in the FAQs? Is that like a MetaNember on 'roids? This is gonna be great. Can't wait for this to really get going.

This forum looks COOL. The funny part is that all the old members and moderators that were popular and joined around 2004-06 are now newbies.

I am now moving all the MG threads over to F&G :D And now would be a good time to implement Chase's icons.

It's going to take an extremely long time to get used to it.
I hope the old forums dont become disused though.
I guess i'm gonna have to bookmark it.
ALSO: YES! I am one of the old members! Well, will be, in like 2010, and everyone will go "he registered on the first day...awesome"

I think that people's stats will be modified to as they were on the old forums. I'm not completely sure.

@ Chase: You can put in a request to the admins to restore your post count if you like.

Heh, the move finally took place! :D
With regards to the announcement, are the subjects going to be manually ported, or did someone create a bot-type thing to pick up all the old topics?

That reminds me, the thread on the original forums said that the initial round of hiring would occur on October 1st.DemonzLunchBreak wrote:I'm lovin' the new forums. And certain new staff positions. Well, the default black colours burnt my eyes out, but I managed to change it.
Love the change, but anyone care to explain the 'real N' name? I thought that was the name of one of LV's? comics, or the name of an N fan-content site, or something.
Also, I love the "you may wish to review your post" function, although I could forsee it becoming glitchy and annoying in high-traffic threads.
