Fuck Benjamin Franklin and time zones all to hell. I'm talking about 8 PM Standard, which is (I think) 2 PM in my neck of the woods.

Decisions:

Point system - 1 point for draw, 2 points for victory
How will we play? - Live chess, if a player wants some match to be long, it will be long. But try not to use this unless necessary
How long will the match last? - 15 minutes per player

EdoI, are you going to use the "create tournament" option on the website? It just occurred to me that it might be a lot easier than organising the whole thing manually. If you are, you'll want to use the "Invite only" option on advanced settings amongst other things.

I'm aware of the option, and it's not for live chess.

Edit: It's 16:02, and neither hmm nor chume14 are online. Great. I'm going to send a private message to everyone, now.

Edit 2: I've sent a private message to hmm and chume14. Their match will be played tomorrow in 16, if they don't appear again I won't postpone it any more.

EDIT: I'm on. I have until about 40 minutes from now, maybe a little longer. If it can't be done right now, let's play long chess over the next week.

No, I don't think so. To be honest, I'm really thinking I can't participate in this--it's been too ridiculous a struggle for me to get in front of a computer today. If Seneschal doesn't get on in the next fifteen minutes, I'll figure out how to do long chess and start us off. Wait. He's white. If he's not on soon, he can start us off next time he logs on, I guess.

In order to prevent this from happening, please check the GMT time at the link I gave you in the first post. Summer time makes bad things happen.
