Interesting shit, wish I had enough featured maps to qualify for the stats...

Yeah, I'm updating it weekly. I'll also post a list of all of the Authors who made it into the contention up next week, and I'll update that whenever there are new Authors or data about them needs updating.

Edit: And yeah Rocket_Thumped, it's annoying that I'm not on my own list too :D

I was sad to hear that you cut out those people with only 1 or 2 features because that keeps me off the list as well.

Anyway, interesting statistics, it will be even more interesting to watch them change.

Haha, that won't exactly be hard. I keep records of /every/ user with a feature; it's just I only use those with 3 or more in compiling public stats.

I sware I'm going to end up as a librarian of some sort. D:

Matt, are collaboration maps giving credit to both authors as the creator? Or just the account it was submitted under?

Both accounts.
People write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

Okay, the stats have now been updated to a v3, and I shouldn't be making any more changes to the roster. Updated as of 23/09/09, 8:53 pm.

Congrats to martyr on becoming our latest Author!

Neat! Nice job compiling your data, GTM. I wish we still had member numbers, because that would be a much more reliable way to determine the oldest authors. You used to be able to delete maps, so some authors may have deleted their first maps (think Barabajagal).

Family trip to Devon prevented me from getting this done sooner. However, all of the stats exclude maps that were made after Sunday, so it doesn't count maps which would'nt have counted if I /did/ update it on Sunday. Kapiche?

Position Changes have also been implemented, so you can track your favorite authors. ^ means they've gone up, v means they've gone down, and * means they've entered the charts anew.

Congratulations go to ganteka this week, for becoming a new Author. :D

"The Authors With Least Maps"
What does that depends on, I mean I have 64 maps at the moment, I should be in there too, if it has a different listing system.

An author is defined here as someone with at least 3 featured maps. Look at the first post.

I would just like to say that I am #69 on Cheesemonger's list of people with featured maps.

That is all.

While making these graphs, GTM defined an author with 3 or more features. So you need to have at least 3 features to be on these things.

Yeah, what tunco said. Otherwise it'd take too long to compile them, and certain graphs would be made /very/ inaccurate.
