I know a did a little stint in the past, but the whole lengthy description and such is purely subjective, and me being OCD

the pack kind of felt like you sat down and made maps out of pure gameplay, without putting any of yourself into it. I am not saying it was bad or not fun, i am merely noting that your 'style' seems more like a 'lack of style'. Playing these, i did not see any obvious personal flair at all ( perhaps your personal touches are in fact not putting any personal touches in) . All the maps were utilitarian and sterile and to the point. It was like playing maps made by a robot. In short, your maps are certainly unique to NUMA and were a lot of fun to play through. like a big rearranging computer program or something.

You guys are waaay behind. Plus, I don't think either of you are going to manage 08-4, or 09-4 for that matter.

Seneschal, 09-00 Dark Carnival really isn't so bad. 09-01 is actually much harder imo.

No I don't. Today, I found out that my userlevels demo's got corrupted, I mean, erased. I played to episode 7 in 30 minutes.

Congratulations Ganteka! If the Pheidippisodium is somehow disqualified I will vote Pride for a Dronie

Hm, I really disagree with you on quite a lot of maps, but I guess that happens. Redownload the pack, I realized my error and included a 9-1 in a second uploading. I didn't think it was dronie worthy, and I don't see why Pheidi's pack'd be ineligible, but thanks I guess :)

Well. Finally played this.

I don't like it.
It all feels really.... I don't know. There's never a sense of adventure. Never any real excitement. All of it feels really /plain/. They don't have... they don't have /soul/ in them. They feel like... robotic. I guess that isn't really bad, though.

The pack feels like going to a minimalistic art museum. I could never understand minimalistic art. I couldn't ever find the appeal of a black line on a blank piece of canvas. Some people found it amazing. I found it boring.
I really don't know. Like all of them feel really /the same/. I know they really aren't, but it just feels like it. It needs more variety, something different. I don't know, man. :/

Wha? 8-4? 9-1? Well, they are robotic, but I think that's pretty awesome. It's just personal opinion so I won't discuss about it.

This ^

I don't like it either, I'm afraid. There were three things that were very overused imo:

1. rockets
2. trap doors
3. repetitive tile shapes

There's nothing wrong with simple maps in principle, but a whole pack of them gets very old very quickly :/

Maxson used the word I was looking for instead of variety. A lot of things were overused is what I meant.

But I have to agree with that very strongly. Especially mines. Gameplay was very busy, player needed space to move freely, well, that goes for some levels, or else the opposite. Ex to busy gameplay; 8-4 agd took me 2 hours to get. More than MTI.
Yeah, figure it out :/

It's been awhile since I found a mappack for which I have an AGD demo for 90% of the maps. I think the last one for which I could say this is MRDR. I've loved your maps since you began, and this is a fine example of a well-composed mappack. Instead of going through and saying why I liked maps, I'm going to list the maps I didn't like and why.
  • 05-04 stalactite: The last two mines killed me waay to many times to make it fun.
  • 08-03 a little fall of rain: There was no structure to the tiles, it was just paint globs on a wall.
  • 08-04 hurtle/hurdle: The lasers were very bothersome, gausses might have been better.
  • 09-04 the jungle book: As I've said, the construction of the map is bad. The bounceblocks would've been better in the 'vines' and the gausses were pesky. A single rocket would've been better.
Yep, that's it. All the other levels are excellent. Everyone play this. Also, here are demos.

Best pack I've ever played...
I really like your style (simplicity and so on).
I don't have a signature.
