Please, NUMA, just for a second. I know that PALEMOON and some other people spammed NUMA yesterday. And I know the proper punishment is a lengthy ban, which I can understand PALEMOON has recieved. This long, I can understand the admins.

Now, I for once open the 'HOME' section of NUMA to find an admin message by Southpaw:
"0 this map" - with a link to PALEMOON's last map.

This is where the thing becomes completely ridiculous to me. Admins should make sure the homepage runs as it should, not ask users to snipe maps they don't like (or whose author they don't like).

Now, I know I might be biased, but I'm saying this competely seriously: Don't be childish, please. By posting that admin message, all you prove is that you are as childish as those you try to put in place, if not more. That message screams to me: "I am a four-year-old child who doesn't like that the world doesn't do as I want."

Tune it down and concentrate on making NUMA a better place for the users, please.

That is all. You can start hating me and calling me a puppet and a weakling and whatever you want, now.

Ahem.

Part of the job of being a moderator is knowing when to get on the ride, as well as when to tell everyone to get off. /quote

It's a social networking site first and foremost, anyways. We're allowed a little fun.

... And part of being a moderator is not being a 4-year-old.

Yeah, I know, the last thing people want is to think about this more, but I think it'd be ridiculous to just accept it. Of course you are entitled to your own opinions*

No, seriously, you are

Please explain how four year olds can type /and/ have a sense of humor above yours /and/ have a mod spot. Also, if the last thing you want is to draw attention to it, just don't mention it. Duh.

Me neither. Thank god southpaw is here to spice things up a bit. Otherwise the site would be incredibly boring. Remember when he featured that Stacey map?

Yeah southpaw is such a douche. We should totally ban him. Actually, is it even possible to disable admins?

For crying out loud, give these people a break.
I mean, come on, let them have some fun every now and then, without the occasional joke this place would be plain boring.

So stop spamming this page with stupid objections.

PALEMOON gets enough attention as it is. NUMA was cool when it was run by just Arachnid. Atob did a good job too.

Alternatively you can highjack the moa site after we're done and make a "hardcore" N mapping site.

Anyone using an exclamation mark would be castrated over the internet, and there must be specific quotas on how many boobs can be made on a single map.

Are you kidding me?
Those maps would be given the equivalent of a feature each time they're submitted.

Claiming that humour this silly and immature is above mine is extremely arrogant. And they're moderators because someone picked them to be mods. And I know how moderators think and that there's this soft line between person and authority that has to be respected. I am moderator for a small forum for a clan for another game, and I know how things work, even if it is in a much smaller scale.

It's not allowed there. The comments just got toasted.
And it's not just a joke, it's no more maps from one of my favourite mappers the next month. Now that is plain boring.

Seconded three posts quoted above. We all need to have some fun-mods and admins too. We can, but when things gets out of the way it should be, that's where mods or admins acts.

The response to this has been more childish than the act itself.
