I have a suggestion for a new rule: If no word starts with the same two letters as the last two letters of the previous post, find a word that starts with the same three letters as the last three letters of the previous post. It can probably still be beat, but it would be harder.

I can't declare it an official rule, but I'll follow it for now to save this post from 'Lent'

If you want, we can extend the game like Technochocolate stated.

I also have these ideas:
If you use the third letter rule, the previous poster gets a point;
OR
We hold sign-ups, and then who ever is participating must make at least one post in a day. In this case, using the third letter rule would also make you lose a point. What do you think?

I like the idea of scoring this, except for the fact that people would use impossible combinations all the time.

I don't like the idea; it makes it a little complicated. A points list or a schedule would make the game a little bit of a commitment. I prefer going on whenever and posting any word that works, for fun. It's not too important though; I'd still play if you changed the rules.
