iPhone: White or black? (Poll added)

Ok so I am going to get an iPhone very soon. I can't really decide what colour to get though. My initial thoughts were to get a black one because it is more sleek, but now I am getting more tempted by the white one because it's different.

Thoughts?

Having always been a fan of the white iPod aesthetic, I got my iPhone in white. To this day black still looks tacky to me on Apple products.

White looks cheap, also it would look dirtier because that white is a more clear color.

Depends on if you are going to get a case for it. If so, the color doesn't really matter, seeing how you could get a case in any colour.

There's a reason everyone buys black. And besides, if it gets grubby you're less likely to notice/care.

I'd go for red, personally :D

That's a really interesting point you have brought up there. I have always been a fan of black ipod's. Possibly because of them looking more sleek than the original white ipods. I think I'm definitely swinging towards black.

Capt, I wont be using a case. Also, I am very protective over my things so I can't see it getting too scratched up.

Mm, cases detract from the inherent beauty of the product. Why buy something pretty if you're going to put a horrid plastic thing around it?

Anyway, I never liked black iPods. I still live back in '03, when white was the only option and it just looked fantastic. Then they got rid of the white iPod come the time I bought a Classic. Bastards. All aesthetic for me. :P
