In my philosophy class the other day We were talking about how we can't say whether an event that occurs is good or bad. Here's a little story that could maybe help you guys understand what I'm getting at:
One day there was a farmer and his best horse ran away. His neighbor came to him and said, "Omg, your horse ran away. That's too bad." The farmer said, "There is no good or bad." The next day the farmer's horse came back and brought 4-6 horses with it. The farmer's neighbor came over and was like, "Omg you have all these horses now. Good for you!" The farmer said, "There is no good or bad." The next day when the farmer's son was breaking in the new horses he fell of one of the horses and broke his leg. The farmer's neighbor cam over and said, "I'm sorry to hear about your son's leg. That's too bad." The farmer said, "There is no good or bad." The next day the army was in town drafting people to go fight. The son was unable to go because his leg was broken.
I thought I could try and make this into a game. Like one person says something good and the next person has to try to make it into something bad like the story. I'll start it off. Use your imaginatoin!!!!!
One day, a man was walking down the street and he tripped and broke his arm.
There is no good or bad.
