You can't be consistently lucky. At that point, it's not luck any more at all. It's an un-named skill. Disern why it's consistently occuring and you can call it something other than luck.

I think that what they say has some merit, but it isn't luck...it's attentiveness and self-confidence, both of which may affect situations which could be attributed to luck, like finding money on the ground, but has no bearing on other aspects, such as winning the lotto.

I believe people are inherently lucky, but I don't think it's a skill you learn. It's an unnamed skill you have. Like, spider sense.

I'd be willing to shell out 20 bucks for a book that helps you be lucky. I kinda already knew that before, that luck was only a result of the personality, but still.

This is cool, but it's not luck.

Luck is finding an unmarked envelope with twenty dollars on the sidewalk, not "making new friends." While the personality traits he mentioned can help improve your life, calling it "luck" is just misleading.

The secondary point was that "lucky" and "unlucky" people don't really exist; the "lucky" people are just more observant and opportunistic.
