I sometimes find myself sliding a hand across to the numpad and hitting its enter key with great aplomb, normally to submit a form or similar. For a brief moment, I get to be an action hero.

On a laptop these dayses so numpad enter would involve me pressing Function and then the Enter button anyway. On a desktop, never used it unless I was on the numpad to begin with.

Hahaha, so true. When you finish all the hard work you had to do, smashing the numpad enter, followed by a war shout, is the best combo to relief all the stress you've been gaining through all the Excel cells and tab frustration.ortsz wrote:I sometimes find myself sliding a hand across to the numpad and hitting its enter key with great aplomb, normally to submit a form or similar. I don't use the numpad almost at all, only for +-*/ maybe.

By always, I mean that I always use it when typing numbers, but not for every time I need to use enter. Thus, I voted "occasionally."

I always use that enter key when I'm done entering certain things that end in numbers. (Yes, I use the numpad for numbers).

Ah, numpad enter. An elegant key, from a more civilised age.

I love the numpad, but my laptop doesn't have, even if I press the Function Key.

The best thing to do is use both hands with the number pad so you can enter numbers more efficiently. Plus, it's just plain fun!

Sometimes I do. But only on Garry's Mod to control stuff with.
Other than that I never use the numpad at all.

I only use it when I pretend that my keyboard is a drum machine and I make frantic rhythms using the sounds of the keystrokes. It's got a nice tone, I think.
Six times. All beautiful.
