Preparing for Dronies 2009

The following list of categories represent the 2009 Dronies.
You are allowed 3 nominations for each category. The nomination form will be up soon. In the meantime, it may be good to get started on filling out your list of nominees.

Some categories that need some extra explanation:

Run of the Year - Any run may be nominated for the Run of the Year category, this includes both speedruns and highscore runs, as long as it has not been frame by frame created or used underclock mode.

N Player of the Year - Similarly, N Player of the Year includes both highscorers and speedrunners.

Nreality Map of the Year - Nreality Map of the Year is a category for the best map that uses Nreality to enhance the experience. Only maps that contain modifications through Nreality will be included, and on the flip side, no maps which are modified through Nreality will be accepted for any other category.

Tileset of the Year - Tileset of the Year may come from any map, including playable ones. This category is not just limited to tile art.

I'm getting some help from Skyline and Yanni I hope. We'll be discussing some things tonight and maybe tomorrow. I'll get the first post set up with all the necessary information within the next day or so. (Hopefully.)

Aww. I've barely done anything on my comic this year, so no way I can get close to winning. Maybe in two years' time...
In the mean time, I suppose I have some other major things that I can vote for, but once again maps will be a bit left out.

sidke has been a kind enough fellow to code an entire website to handle the nominations. We're working on getting the thing hosted but everything looks really well done, so look out for that very soon.

On a side note, the categories are going to be the same from last year. None of us could think of anything that needed to be added or subtracted from last year's list. The categories are going up in the first post so be sure to start getting your nominations ready!

Things will hopefully be up and running before Sunday!
