:(
I got a somewhat decent highscore though :)
This map is a much better choice than the last.

Also, last time I checked (which was like a week ago), weren't there 16 people under highscore amateur?

I'm not a great highscorer. I'm generally only good at speedrunning maps that are completable in up to 600 frames; any more than that and I'm rubbish. :xJawbit wrote:WHAT?? amlt is in my amateur highscoring group? What are do doing in amateur?

How do you know he was the first to discover that innovation?Despite Etz re-taking 0th, it took Meta just two hours to be the only person to go under 600 and take 0th, using an innovation first discovered by romaniac in the hs competition. Well done to everyone here!
I pretty much found it within the first 5 minutes of playing, I just couldn't be screwed putting it in a run.
In any case, I think you'd make a good sports journalist ;D
I think this tournament is going to be decided by the most consistent player..

Heh, thanks, but credit must go to kkstrong who did the same thing in the last one; I just copied his idea, really :Pska wrote:How do you know he was the first to discover that innovation?Despite Etz re-taking 0th, it took Meta just two hours to be the only person to go under 600 and take 0th, using an innovation first discovered by romaniac in the hs competition. Also, thanks for pointing that out; "first used" would be more accurate. *Proceeds to edit*
EDIT:
Well, at least you'll know this for future reference, as I plan to be using the same time each week.allen_y wrote:I thought the post said 11:59 PM for the US time, so I ended up barely missing the deadline. Oh well, better luck next time. Maybe.

Also, yes there were, but due to a few pull-outs, I've had to move everything around a bit. Hopefully I won't have to change the current groups from how they are now, though.

check this:golfkid wrote:Boy, glib_jase sure nailed it on the head when he talked about our group, and when I decided to put it in the sig. Even though I only got 1 point in my group, the least I would have gotten in any other group was 3 points. Sure is gonna be tough for me to come back and stay in this thing past the group rounds with competition like this.
that means that you can have only 3 points after 3 rounds, but you are still able to advance, if you're one of the 4 best players after people who are 1st in their group. This is a novelty in comparison to blur 2 where 2 best in each group advanced. Now being second doesn't mean anything :/. Good luck!Seneschal wrote: After playing through the three maps, the player in each group with the most points will advance to the next stage. The four next people with the highest scores will advance as well.
