I concur. I'm black (not all the way, mind, but still) and I didn't take this seriously. Why? Because I'm black. Not because I'm white with a fuckton of freckles. Besides, all of the rascist white folks would only have more fodder for there discriminating cannons.

I'd prefer to think of this in the reverse, since that would make white people think that this is bullshit, and black folks feel smarter. And you know why else?

On a more serious note: I have seen people with freckles on their palms, soles, and lips. and no, my palms aren't white, more of a light brownish color. Furthermore, you still haven't answered the question as to the people who have reddish freckles, such as my mother.

@Demonz: I can see what he means, and the logic is there, i guess, but yeah, I don't think that that's true. In my book, racism is define by one race acting against another race, physically or otherwise, as I'm pretty sure most other people are too.

@SkyPanda: Sorry, it's just that where i live, I'm one of the only black persons for miles, and everyone is (surprise!) white. So, I guess that that was poor... defining on my part. My apologies.

New post: Nope SkyPanda, i understood what you said. as i couple people above this post said, the minority doesnt harm the majority as much with their racism. It helps make my claim in my old post though, that racism is exists and is inevitable.

That's amazing. There's not even an element of unfair treatment or judgment by other qualities. It's just "acting against." Brilliant.
So if you are, for example, participating in some math contest, then you're expected to drop out if anyone else there is a minority race. If you don't, you're acting against a minority and are therefore being racist.
You should come to him acting appalled that there are white kids on your school's sports teams, since participating in a competitive event entails acting against the interests of the opposing team, on which there are likely members of a minority race.

It also means that if, for example, you're Asian, you can go around saying you hate black people, and it's not racist because Asians aren't the majority. Don't ask me what happens if you're mixed race. Perhaps it's half-racist or something. Also, I'm pretty sure there are slightly more females than males in Western countries. Would that mean men cannot be sexist because they're a minority?

I think your diversity counselor is having difficulty distinguishing between "privileged" and "majority", though I would argue that even members of non-privileged groups may be prejudiced against others, including the privileged group.
